why can't you see that I've tried
I've tried to wash out your memories
stopped celebrating our anniversaries
stopped brooding in our gallary
but still you stuck to me like embroidery
your thoughts are everywhere
in my eyes when I sleep
it can follow me anywhere
and that's the reason I weep
because everything reminds me of you
walking side by side by noon
you'd wrap your arms around me where I'd cocoon
and we'd laugh so hard to your favorite cartoon
I miss your sounds
the way they feel the whole room
your boldness that astounds
it tickles my senses like perfume
why can't you see I've tried
to wipe these tears from my eyes
to see that my visage is a lie
I've been living in this disguise
Why won't you take my hand again ?
