because I am a coward to speak
and too slothful to act
I'd rather close my eyes to sleep
then state the obvious fact
which is I'll never let you go
even if we should ever depart
we have been best friends from long ago
and I'll never let this feeling tear us apart
but I can wait
till whenever I'm ready to tell you
maybe I might be too late
but this is because I love you
this tree might be too thorny to climb
but I'll do my very best
because they say good things take time
and baby you're better than the rest .
