THE GROVE

Me and my parents were at the Greene farm again. Mom had told me that Annette just had a child. Meaning that there were three of them now. Maggie was 6. Shawn was 4. And Beth was a newborn. I walked into her room. Maggie following right behind me. Shawn was standing in front of Beth's crib. He turned and looked at us

"You can't be near her" Shawn said

"Uh, why not?" I asked

"Because, she's my sister and I have to protect her" Shawn said

"Okay, kid. I could pick you up and move you. I'm going to see Beth" I said

"No, I'll fight you to the death!" He yelled as he ran at me. I picked him up and threw him over my shoulder as if he was a sack of potatoes. Shawn began crying

"Mommy! Mommy!" He cried

"Y/n? Is that Shawn? Quit picking on him!" My mother yelled from another room. I groaned as I set Shawn down. He looked at me with a smirk

This brat.. I'll kill him

Maggie began crying

"Shawn hit me!" Maggie said lying through her teeth as she cried. My dad stormed in

"What the hell is going on?" He asked. Maggie looked up at him

"Me and Y/n, were going to see Beth.. but Shawn wouldn't let us.. and then he hit me" Maggie said. Shawn's jaw dropped

"I did not!" He yelled

"Shawn, we don't hit others. Come on now" My dad said leading him out

"What?!" He asked shocked. It left me and Maggie with Beth. She looked at me a smile as she wiped her tears

"Look! I helped you Big Sis" She said. I ruffled her hair

"Good job" I said

I had woken up from my peaceful dream that so happened to be an old memory. It was morning. The others were already awake. I was the last one up. Carol was putting some liquid on Tyreese's arm

"It hurts, right?" Carol asked

"Oh, yeah. It hurts" Tyreese said

"This will fight the infection. Might even bring down your fever" Carol said

"What do you think? Three days out? Four days?" Tyreese asked

"We haven't seen any of those maps at the crossings. I'm not sure" I said. Carol began wrapping Tyreese's arm
