Daryl had entered the house. I was feeding Lyra when he walked in

"Hey, I found something I think you'd like" Daryl said

"What is it?" I asked

"We'll have to leave and you have to trust me. Do you?" He asked

"If it's with you, I'm all in. I'll leave Lyra with Taylor" I said with a smile. He gave me a smile back

"Hey, Taylor! We're leaving! I'm leaving Lyra in your care!" I yelled up the stairs. I heard Taylor rush down the stairs

"Where are you going?" Taylor asked

"That's for us to know and not you" Daryl said. I lightly punched his chest

"Don't be an ass. We'll be back before tomorrow" I said

"Alright" She said. Me and Daryl left. Lee was at the front gate. I was waiting for Daryl to get his motorcycle

"Where are you guys going?" Lee asked

"I'm not sure. I think it's a date" I said with a wink. Lee smiled

"Well have f-" Lee's eyes went wide as turned and looked away. I heard Daryl's motorcycle

"Get on" He said. I got on the back and we drove off. Daryl had been driving. I wasn't exactly sure where we were. Trees surrounded the road. Then, suddenly, he turned and drove into the forest. A couple minutes later we stopped in front of a cabin. He got of the motorcycle, and I got off as well

"I, uh, found this while I was out. I didn't tell anyone else about it. I thought it could be a place we could get away to" Daryl said as he led me inside

"That's so sweet" I said as I explored the small cabin

"I've been stocking it with spare cans i found. Considering Alexandria is doing fine on food at the moment, I thought I'd keep some here.. For us" He said with an embarrassed smile. I put my hand on his face

"You are just.. ugh.." I said as I had fallen in love with him again

"Y/n, you have to come out of there.. you need to eat" Daryl said. I groaned as I tried going back to sleep
