Hey, y'all! How have you been? Yes, sorry for not updating lately. But I'll try to update whenever I have a three-day weekend or when I'm on break. This one-shot was originally going to be a Aru x Aiden one-shot, but then I decided to change it up... Well, you'll see how, and enjoy! (Some parts might not make sense and I did that on purpose.)

~~~~~~~
Late at night, walking on the street, it felt weird between them. She felt like she was in this kind of a situation before, like some sort of déjà vu. His warm hand brushed against hers, and she felt her heart drop to the ground. Why do I keep acting this way? She thought as the pair continued to walk. Now there was no hiding— she thought that she fell for him.
The temperature was perfect for the mood as they both took a left. I think I've fallen for you, she thought as she looked at him with loving eyes. His grey hair with matching grey eyes, skin that looked like aluminum foil, and all black clothes.
"Something on my face, Opal?"
Opal blinked a few times before blushing. "No," she mumbled.
Garbage Can rolled his eyes as Opal continued to walk forward, and felt herself get pulled back as she spun around into... Garbage Cans arms. (Just like in the K-Dramas!) Opal felt herself blush as she and Garbage Can looked into each other's eyes for a while before blinking out of their trance. (Opal swore she heard music coming out of nowhere.)
"S-sorry," they both said at the same time, looking at the ground.
"Look where you're going next time. The road is dangerous."
"I will."
The pair crossed the street and continued to walk past some small shops, and when Garbage Can stopped abruptly, Opal bumped into him. "Why'd you stop so suddenly?" she demanded.
"Nothing, thought I saw something."
"Oh," Opal mumbled.
The pair resumed their stroll, and Opal went ahead, not noticing the walking symbol change into the hand symbol because her head was down.
"Opal watch out!" Garbage Can yelled.
Opal looked up to see a car coming towards her and she froze just as Garbage Can ran and veered her out of the way just in time. Opal's heart started to race and she started to audibly breathe.
"The street's dangerous, Opal. You need to watch where you're going." Garbage Can mumbled in Opal's ear.
"I-I know, Garbage." Opal said, chuckling nervously.
Opal's heart continued to race as Garbage took her hand and led her across the street quickly to the other side. Could love be starting? Opal thought as Garbage continued to hold her hand as they resumed walking. She could feel his hand trembling against her. The street was quieter then, and the sky continued to go into darkness. Opal could see little bright stars in the sky, and she didn't feel as afraid anymore. Maybe it was because of Garbage Cans warm hands, or the streetlight embracing them. Garbage Can squeezed Opal's hand.
They both turned left and stopped in front of the fountain that was close to Opal's house. They both turned to face each other, and there was an awkward silence. She was looking at him, smiling, and vice versa. The air smelled and felt sweet, then he tucked a strand of hair behind Opal's ear.
"May I?" he asked her, smiling more.
She nodded as his face neared closer to hers, and their lips touched for a few seconds before pulling away. Opal stared at him with wide eyes and she covered her eyes with her hands, doing a little happy dance on the inside. Then she heard someone honk their car horn. She removed her hands from her eyes and took Garbage Cans hand and guided him towards her house. "You need to be careful, the street's dangerous." Opal smiled.
Garbage Can laughed. "And, I like you too, Opal."
"H—how did you know—"
"You were sort-of obvious with the signs."
"Oh,"
They both laughed. "And I think our love has started." Garbage Can stated.
They both smiled at each other. "Now, let's go inside." Opal said, taking his hand.
She could feel his hand trembling again, so she tightened her grip on his hand and they both strolled towards her house.
She liked everything about him, from his grey hair to the way he walked and talked when she was with him, she liked things just the way they were. And because he was there, she enjoyed the moment even more.
"After you, Opal."
Opal curtsied. "Thank you kind sir."
She went inside her house and he went in after her, closing the door behind him.
Because you're here, I like this moment (네가 있어서 지금 이 순간이 난 좋아)
