it beats only for you.

"What do you mean? This isn't the summit yet?" chenle's voice echoed as they continued climbing up the hill. it's been a few weeks since the young couple had wed. weeks of thinking, and yet they just end up climbing a mountain for their first honeymoon. their hyungs expected them to go abroad or somewhere relaxing, somewhere they won't be disturbed. "Gosh, i'm so tired. Let's rest first!"

jisung pretended to not hear his husband's complaints and kept climbing up, and chenle was left wih no choice but to keep up with him. "It was you who suggested to do this for our first honeymoon, Mr. Park Chenle?"

he was right. this was all chenle's idea in the first place. "Just tell me we're near now." he sighed, admitting defeat.

"Almost there, loud mouth. Stop complaining." the taller man looks back to let chenle see the eyeroll thay was for him.

"Asshole." he cursed under his breath, taking bigger steps.

"We're here now. We made it to the summit." this lit up chenle's eyes. finally, they were on top of the world. not really but the city looked tiny from above. the scene was breathtaking.

jisung was breathtaking.

"Do you like it?" jisung asked, wrapping his arm around chenle's shoulder.

"It looks nice, but would I ever do it again? Never." he scrunches his nose. this made jisung chuckle.

he took chenle's right hand and removed the glove. he sets it aside before bringing his palm up to his chest. "do you feel it beating?"

"I swear to god if you say something cheesy, I'm going to punch you."

"Oh hell yeah I would. Just let me." chenle remained silent, looking forward to what his husband's gonna say. "This heart.... it beats only for you."

hello. took me a while. if you actually read this, congrats bsbdhshs. it took me almost to years to gather inspiration and motivation to finish this. i initially wanted to leave it with an open ending but i felt the need to finish this before actually starting to edit the book.

i will be writing again soon with a new writing style. it's been a long time actually and i wanted to write nct fanfics again.

anyways, thank you for the continuous support on this platform. i'm very thankful. as a gift, i will repost the renmin side story called shortie. i did some minor tweaking on the plot but you guys probably wouldn't be able to tell because i never finished that book in the first place. this is getting super long now hahaha. thank you again for the support. i hope to see you guys in the renmin side story ;))
