Amelia's pov:
-...will you marry me?- Arizona says kneeling in front of me holding a little box with a ring inside, a really beautiful ring

-Arizona...- I take a deep breath- I.. I do wanna marry you, I want everything with you

Her smile fades away and she has teary eyes by now

-But...- she adds

-But there's something in my past that...- tears start rolling down my cheeks- I'm afraid that could happen again and I don't wanna lose you

She stands up and holds my hand trying to comfort me

-You're not losing me Amelia- she place a kiss on my cheek- would you mind telling me what happened to you?

At that moment I freeze, I don't like talking about my past, I feel uncomfortable and I trust Zona but I'm not ready, I'm scared she'd freak out and leave me

-I don't wanna talk about it- I clean my cheeks- I need time, would you give me that?

She nods softly again with tears in her eyes, It breaks my heart to see her like that but I need time to think and consider everything

-Just know that I'll be waiting for you, take the time you need, I'll be here- she says softly against my cheek now hugging me 

I step away and make my way far from her, I take a taxi and go to the airport, I know exactly who I need to talk to

After a long and tiring travel, I arrive to LA and go straight to Charlotte's house

-Hey you!- Char says hugging me- what's wrong? Why are you here? I mean I'm happy to see you but...- I nod in understanding

-Can we talk?- she nods and we go into her house

-Tell me... What happened?- she says bringing me a cup of coffee and sitting next to me resting her hand on mine

I take a deep breath before start talking- I... Arizona proposed- I say and she's shocked

-And... You got scared- I nod in silence- you said no...?

-No... I... I told her I need time and came here right away- a tear rolls down my cheek and Char hugs me- I'm scared... I don't want to lose her

-I know my dear- she strokes my hair- but she's fine, Arizona is fine and she loves you and I know you love her...

-I do, I love her- I say sobbing- but last time I agreed to marriage someone... He ended up dead

-She's not Ryan, Amelia- I freeze when I hear his name- I understand that you're afraid that could happen to Arizona but...

-She's not a drug addict- I complete her sentence

-Amelia...- Char sighs

-You're right Charlotte but still a million things could happen- I start to freak out

-Hey look at me- she grabs my chin- yes, a lot could happen but instead of losing time you can enjoy it with her

-Until dead do us apart?- I giggle and she nods with a soft smile

-Are you better now?- she says after we took dinner

-Yes- I smile- I know exactly what I have to do... Would you help me with something?

-What's on your precious mind?- she asks placing a kiss on my head

-Buy a ring- I say and she looks at me shocked but with a big smile
