Antonio POV
I went to Med as soon as I was done work. Nat had texted me earlier saying to bring Gabby in when I picked her up but then Brett called and said she was at med. Everyone says she's fine but I'm still worried. I head into the ED and see Gabby behind the desk chatting with Maggie
Antonio- hey sis, do you work here now?
Gabby- might as well, I spend so much time here!
Antonio- everything ok?
Gabby- ya, new tube
Maggie- and she had bloodwork and a CT because of all the seizures but everything seems fine. She has an appointment next week for an EEG but bring her back if you think there's something going on
Gabby- I'm fine, just seizures
Antonio- ok, ready to get out of here and go find Shay?
Gabby- ya
I bring her to the door in the chair then carry her to the car and we drive to the daycare
Antonio- I'll just call them, I'm sure ms H would bring her out or Emily if she's here to get Kara
Gabby- I'm fine, just go get her
Antonio- fine, I'll be quick and I'm calling you and leaving it on speakerphone so I can hear you and the pulse ox
Gabby- you're very overprotective!
I set up her phone then head inside. I see Shay with Emily and Kara and walk over to them
Antonio(signs and speaks)- hi Shay! Time to go, we need to be fast, mama's in the car
Shay started grabbing her stuff
Emily- I could have brought her out for you
Antonio- I know, I told Gabby that but she insisted she was fine and that I could come in.
We walk out together, Emily and Kara come to say hi to Gabby, then we head home.
Gabby finally gets her wheelchair back but by now she's too tired to even hold herself up in her chair and asks to be tilted back. We have a quiet evening, Gabby wouldn't take anything orally for dinner which isn't surprising after the day she's had. I've just put Shay in bed and come back to the living room where Gabby is.

Antonio- how are you doing?
I can see how much she's struggling with her body but I'm curious what she'll say
Gabby- tired
She paused for a while, struggling to speak
Gabby- day suck
Antonio- I know, I'm sorry you had such a hard day. Is there anything I can do to help?
Gabby- just want bed
Antonio- ok, come on, let's get you to bed then.
I got her in bed, changed her into pyjamas and positioned her for the night. Then I made sure her suction, oxygen and rescue meds were all right there in case of seizures. Then I just waited for her night nurse to get there to update them on the day since she would probably have a rough night. Usually the nurse was here to get her ready for bed but she went to sleep early. A little while later Charlotte showed up.
Antonio- hi, she's already in bed
Charlotte- rough day?
Antonio- very. Another seizure and she didn't have her chair all day so she's exhausted and having lots of spasms. She'll probably need to be repositioned more than usual with all the spasms.
Charlotte- ok, and the seizures?
Antonio- she got checked out at med today, oh ya, also her tube came out so she has a new one and it's a bit sore. But seizures, same as usual, she has an EEG next week but nothing different until then.

The next few days were hard, Gabby was still having a lot of seizures so she wasn't feeling good. She's starting to regress because of all the seizures. Her appointment's tomorrow, hopefully after the EEG dr Abrams will have some ideas to get the seizures under control again. Today everyone's back on shift so Gabby's PSW is coming, we've told her what's been going on.

Brett POV
It's a few hours into shift, truck's out on a call so it's pretty quiet. Then the bells go off for 61, I immediately recognize the address.
Brett- Violet, let's go, now!
