AN: Heyyy last chapter was surely a mental trip for me, it was weirdly written but meh, it's a nice chance to see a little more of Marulanda's town interaction, a nice link with a Madrigal (Pepa), and more sibling interaction (there's more of that in the way ;) ).

I'm finding all of this funny and nice to write, especially the unexpected attention and love it's getting, that surely was unexpected but I couldn't be more grateful! <3 I mean, almost 2K views? SIMPLY UNBELIEVABLE AAAAA.

Also, I have been thinking of making a chapter more focused on Bruno's mindset or side of events, so that's what I'll try to do in this chapter, enjoy! <3

The Past

Bruno was proud in some senses of being good at avoiding more problems than his prophecies cause at a daily rate, saying someone would grow a gut, a fish would die, and many more that simply were trivial things but affected a certain point deeply, everyone eventually got mad, making the young Madrigal already suffer anxiety and poor social abilities. He's still a kid yet his gift causes more pain than help, and his mother sometimes seems to agree even if she loves him. It was... a lot of stuff for a young age, and having visions in his sleep never really helped either, it just overwhelmed him more.

But, thankfully he had a time and place to relieve his mind, the amphitheater; of course, he was not an actor, his poor social skills and continuous panic in social situations didn't help at all, but he was a screenwriter, it was a way to cope with the uncontrollable visions and a way to at least control a fate and give it a happy ending, a fictional one, but it truly helped to interpret the real visions and offer a more positive look at those futures.

Even if he wasn't liked by the people because of his visions and sometimes mouth that spoke too much, he spend time writing anonymous scripts for people to enjoy, and Bruno would simply watch as people laughed, cried, or reacted with their true feelings from the bottom of their hearts

Every reaction to a bad prophecy was already foreseen by Bruno by how many times people say the same words, some react by screaming and making him flinch, others cried at their bad visions, others simply... Well, Bruno never wants to figure out the last one, but once or twice he has gotten hurt slightly

But, a week ago he did a reading for one of the Salazar's children, a family that his mother was quite fond of; Marulanda was her name, wasn't it? Marriage readings aren't a common thing he does but there are always a few, who would want a love reading from a Seer that most things he sees are bad? Seems like Marulanda was that case.

Marulanda was weird, very weird, and a little dumb for wanting a reading like that; at least that's how Bruno kind of sees her, they never truly interacted before, each one of them in their individual and different worlds, so opinions about each other aren't a thing; Pepa and his Mom barely talk about her at home, even if they got along the Salazar's Middle Child.

Her reaction was an unexpected part, she was happy to know her bad future? Or did she fake it all? The most surprising part was her wanting to meet again to discuss the visions, which surely made Bruno more surprised and scared, so he lied about being busy, but eventually, she would find out, if she asked anyone about Bruno's schedule, all answers would be the same or some wouldn't even want to answer.

Hopefully, today will be another day at peace before she finds him-

-Señor Bruno! I finally found you!-

"Shit"

If there was a God up there, he surely had something against the curly seer. Should he pray more so he's able to avoid the dark-skinned girl? Surely praying won't work now, but maybe later?
