"Good morning, Philippines!" bati ko sa mikropono nang makaupo ako rito katabi ang mga news anchor na sina Mike at Mel. Narito ako sa isang national television program para mag-announce sa darating kong concert at kaunting promotion performance para sa kanta kong Underneath The Stars.

"Glad you're here again." ani Mike sa akin.

"Glad to be back here." tugon ko naman habang nakangiti. I feel so comfortable talking with him and the aura of the surroundings is just a new breath for me.

"Dahil nga kakalabas lang ng bago mong kanta at album. Wow. Grabe ka at halos walang pahinga sa career mong pinili." saad ni Mel at hinarap ang camera.

"Yes uhmm it's a compilation album. We called it "#1's" as we compiled all of my singles that went to number 1 on billboard and some new covers for this album." tugon ko naman sa kanila.

"Ilang kanta ang cover for this album? It blew up in Japan. Selling 3 million copies in one week. The most selling album in their history by foreign artist." kwento pa ni Mike na siyang mas nagpasigla sa akin.

"Really? I didn't know that. I never based on the sales but I'm very thankful for the fans that supported the album." hinanap ko ang isang camera at ngumiti rito. "Thank you for the fans around the globe and for the neverending support I'm getting from each one of you. From the pure album sales, digital sales and streaming. Thank you."

"Can we have at least a little background on your life? Mukhang ang tahimik na rin ng mga issues at halos wala na. What happened?" ate Mel asked.

I beamed a sweet smile. "As you all know naman na masaya na buhay ko ngayon and it's not like what I have before."

"As you are saying that you were not in a happy place before?" her follow up question.

I nodded. "For me I wasn't. Pero ngayon it's all fine but the traumas are still there perp unti-unti naman nang nawawala." tugon ko pa. She then smiled and they both give the signalling nod.

"Okay so here he is. Felix Villacorta performing his newly released Underneath The Stars single." nagdilim ang paligid at nagsimula nang tumugtog ang banda. Tumayo ako habang hawak ang mic at naglakad sa gitna ng studio.

I started singing the soft melodies. Iniba ko nga pala ang live version nito kaysa studio. I slowed it down a bit and stripped down the instruments. Nakatayo lang ako sa gitna habang kumakanta at ang mga tao ay iwinawagayway ang kamay sa hangin.

Naglakad ako papalapit sa isang audience at hinawakan ang kamay nito. Mabilis din akong lumayo para maglikot pa sa paligid.

Huminto na ako sa gitna nang malapit na ang bridge ng kanta. I hummed the words as I remembered that Asher kissed Hailee.

I tried many ad-libs and when the song came to its end, the crowd clapped their hands and the lights came rushing flashing.

"Underneath the stars single stream now!" Mike shouted.

"Thank you!! I'll be back with my tour this upcoming consecutive months. Stay tuned."

Matapos ang Good Morning Philippines program ay mabilis akong bumaba papunta sa dressing room para makapagpahinga. Ilang sandali lang din naman ay lilipad na kami papuntang US para sa gaganapin kong concert for my compilation album.
