Yes! I get to leave for Hogwarts today! Don't ask about the name, I find it weird too...

I ate lunch about an hour ago. I was out training my hellhound, which by the way I still haven't found a name for, so I ate pretty late. And since then I've been making last minute preparations and plans so that I'm ready once it's time to go. Of course I'm excited to attend this "magic school" but I'm also quite nervous. The wizards my age have been practicing magic for three years! I just started learning a few days ago! Luckily, Hecate blessed me which helps greatly. I only have to practice saying the spell once or twice before I get good at it. Thank the gods for that! I've actually already mastered the first and second year spells and I'm about a third way through the third years spells. So I'm trying to learn as much of the third years spells and potions as possible! It's actually surprisingly easy, and I'm not just saying the because of my blessing!

So like I said, for the past hour I've been finishing my training and working on whatever I can. After about three more minutes of waiting, Mrs. Weasley comes into the room and tells me that the feast should be starting soon. I nod and thank her politely for letting her stay with me. She obviously hugs me (because she hugs everyone) and I hug back because she has been really nice and I guess I'm kind of used to it now. Then I bid goodbye to Arthur and head outside into the fields. I use the dirty pond water and use a spell to make a rainbow, I then throw in a golden drachma and chant.

"Oh Iris goddess of the rainbow, except my offering! Show me Will Solace at camp Half-Blood!" The water begins to swirl and my boyfriend's familiar face appears.

"Nico!" He exclaims and I can't help but smile a little. Will can make just about anyone smile, even Sevy and I.

We talk for about three minutes as I don't have much time left and then I tell him that I won't be messaging him again for the next while and cut the connection. I then use another drachma to create a vision of hogwarts. I send it to Dumbledore and pray to Iris and all the other gods I can think of that no one will notice me.

The watery-screen shows a great hall with four long tables for the houses and one for the professors at the front. After a few moments of studying the screen, I notice who I assume to be Dumbledore, standing up and slowly walking to the front of the hall. Crap! I'd I don't shadow-travel there ASAP, I'll be late! I quickly cut the connection, sheath my sword onto my belt and picture the great hall as clearly as I possibly can. Then, the shadows overcome me and I fade into nothingness...

Harry's POV

Seeing the wizards and witches from Beauxbatons and Durmstrang was amazing! Especially since Viktor Krum came... I bet Ron almost fainted when he walked through the doors!

It feels great to be back at Hogwarts! Most muggle kids would not be excited to go back to school but at Hogwarts... Well, it's different. It would be weird to not want to come back. The only thing I don't like during the year are Snape's classes, O.W.L.S and N.E.W.T.S. Honestly, I don't know how Hermione likes them!
Oh! Dumbledore is coming up to welcome the schools right now. The talking and laughing quickly dies down, no one wants Dumbledore to yell at them, especially in front of the two visiting schools...

Weird. It feels colder in here than it did earlier... Ron and Hermione seem to notice too. But it only gets creepier because suddenly, all of the torches and lights seem to dim and the great hall is soon cold, dark and silent. Even Dumbledore has stopped talking. He has a twinkle in his eyes though, I have a strange feeling he knows what is going on. All of a sudden, a large group of shadows appear next to Dumbledore and all three of the schools pull out their wands. I'm sure that most of us are expecting a death eater to pop out, or a dementor.

Everyone is staring intently at the dark portal... And then the boy walks out.

"Stupefy!" I hear several voices shout, just as I hear Dumbledore tell them to stop. But it's already too late for some people. Three shots are fired and I know that the mysterious boy will definitely be hit. But then something amazing happens...

Time seems to slow down as the boy looks at the three spells fired at him and coming towards him with the speed of light... And he jumps.

He seems to fly in the air which looks exhilarating, breath-taking and somehow even graceful. The first shot goes straight under his suspended feet and hit the wall. And instead of landing, he goes straight into a roll and the second narrowly misses his head. He comes up standing just as the third reaches him and this time, he doesn't dodge.

He quickly takes a sword out of his belt, a sword! Why in earth does he have a sword?! He holds the midnight blade in front of him and lets out a yell and darkness seems to explode from his sword and from the boy himself. The spell is destroyed when it meets the miniature explosion of shadows. He breathes in deeply and exhales as he sheaths his sword. And then he finally looks up. He scans the room with cold eyes as everyone stares at him with shock and disbelief. No one should be able to do that! No one even seems to know who he is...

I'm sitting quite close to where he is standing, so it is fairly easy for me to examine him. He has fairly long, wavy, dark hair and a olive and slightly pale complexion. He is probably Italian or something close to that. His eyes are so dark you can barely tell the pupil from the iris and they resemble an abyss that never seems to end.

He wears a black t-shirt, dark skinny jeans and black shoes with a brand that I honestly don't recognize, must be from another country. That's not important. The most odd things about him are his silver skull ring with ruby eyes and his sword, now sheathed and hooked onto his belt. What kind of a wizard has a sword?

And how did he get here, he appeared from the shadows! He couldn't be a death eater... Could he?

Everyone in the hall just sits (or stands) in silence. The students and staff looking at the boy with fear and him staring back at us with narrowed eyes. But then something happens that surprises us all.

Dumbledore laughs. Laughs! Of all things! Everyone's eyes snap to him as he walks towards the boy and puts his hand on his shoulder. This causes the boy to smile a little, but it is so small you can barely see it. He looks at Dumbledore who smiles wildly at him, he then turns to us and says, with an amused expression.

"This is Nico Di Angelo, our new exchange student."

Chapter Four book talk-

Was Nico being immature by making such a dramatic entrance- or was he simply unaware that the wizards might mistake him for their enemy?

How would you have reacted to Nico if you were in the position of a regular Hogwarts student?

Is Dumbledore taking this seriously or is he more in it for the entertainment?
