~Rachael~
For the past week I have done nothing but stare at the sun necklace. It's intrigued me so much. I wanted to know who had it before, why it was on the beach, why it came to me? I have no idea.
I was sitting in my cabin, listening to the snores of my tougher siblings, which were more like snorts and wheezes. I had nothing to do. All my homework for mythology was done, I had no afternoon activities to attend to. Nothing. Heck, I didn't even have friends to see.
"Psst!" Came a loud-whisper-not-really.
I was startled out of my intense stare of necklace "uh...hello?"
"Yo" Travis poked his head in the half open door. "Wanna have fun?" he winked
"Ha! In your dreams" i snickered
"Not like that. You have a sick mind." He scowled.
"What was I supposed to think?!" I shot back. "You aren't the most trustworthy of people, you know."
"Hmm. Good point." He relented "anyways, how about some pranking? We could bug bomb the Aphrodite girls or toilet paper the Athena cabin. we could even booby trap the Apollo kids' bunks."
I stared long and hard at the boy. Does he think that I would participate in such a devious thing? Such an annoying activity? An appalling participation?
"I'll get my camera," I smiled slyly
"Yes!" Travis did a happy dance.
As I was reaching for my bag, I had a déjà vu moment. Like a vision or something. It was me, but like dressed from the 50's. I was reaching for a bulky box, an old camera, and I was laughing. But not alone. I turned around with the box camera in my hands to face a boy with brown almond shaped eyes and tan skin. His hair was brown and curly, he was shorter than I. He looked about twelve, I was older but not by much.
"Are you ready to get those Apollo kids?!" The boy laughed.
The vision faded.
I clicked back into reality, laughing with Travis. I dug around in my bag before retrieving my camera. I turned around to see a smiling Travis and Connor had suddenly popped out of nowhere.
"Are you ready to get those Apollo kids?!"
Connor laughed.
Just like that boy laughed.
In the same way.
In the same door jam.
We were doing the same thing.
Talk about déjà vu.
I walked out of the area cabin feeling lightheaded. Well this is crap. I might actually believe Nico about me being dead. Or supposedly dead. Uggg.
"You know what? Never mind. I don't want to prank anymore." Said Travis. Wow.
"Why in Esylum Did you ask me then?" I called after him.
No reply.
Just then Connor began to murmur things. Things like 'I love you too' and 'I will come'.
"Connor." I said
Nothing.
His eyes then turned a grey, his expression blank. He started walking toward the sea.
Then I remembered the whole thing of when I got claimed, the Hephaestus boy almost was killed. The sirens.
"Connor!" I shrieked "Connor, I need you to think of something you love. Anything! Think of your dad, or your love for pranking people. Anything! Please Connor. Please!"
I kept begging him. I put my hand on his shoulders to stop him from walking towards the sea.
I saw some Apollo kids near us. "Hey! Please help!" I shouted.
SUSAN was part of the group. She began running towards us. "What's wrong Rachael?"
"They have Connors mind!"
"Who? Who have his mind?" She asked
"The sirens!"
Enough was said she held him in place while I begged and pleaded for him to think of his mom or whatever it was he loved.

{Connors P.O.V.}
They were talking to me in sweet voices. They wanted me to come to the sea. To come a sit with them. To watch them brush their hair and sing songs. And I wanted to go. But there was a voice, not the sirens. This voice was calmer, kinder, real. It was telling me things like 'what do you love Connor?' And 'think of things you love' . but the sirens kept telling me not to think of lovely things, only of them. But slowly I began to be afraid. The sirens were angry, but the voice of the girl was always kind. Her name was Rachael. She had emerald green eyes and long caramel curls. I thought of her and slowly I came back. The voices screeched like witches being drowned. My vision cleared and the first things I saw was her emerald green eyes filled with worry and concern. She sighed in relief (I think). I stepped forward and pulled her into a hug. A long hug. She buried her face in my shoulder and her arms circled my waist. I wrapped her tightly in my arms and rested my chin on her head. She smelled like a mocha. Ahh this girl make me wanna dance. Shut up! She is too good for you dumb ass. Ugggg. I know. But I can hug her and appreciate her scent.
"We have to tell Chiron"she said breaking our lovely hug. Buts she was right. Something had to be done. I looked deep into her eyes. They darted away from mine and looked behind me then back to mine. I turned around to see Nico leaning against a cabin, his arms crossed. His expression was clear. 'its quest time'
