I sat up groggily rubbing my eyes. Yesterday was a long day. Oracles and stuff. Yeah.

I pulled the covers off my legs and stepped onto the cold ground. Everyone is so lazy in this cabin. They all wake up at, like, 11. While me over here is up at 5:30. AHHH. Oh well. I walked over the the dresser the girls shared and opened my drawer. I took a quick glance out the window to see how the weather was. It was raining. Hard.

I looked back into the oak drawer and grabbed a pair of dark blue skinny jeans that were close shredded on the front. Then I pulled out a grey V neck t-shirt and my black sweatshirt that said 'my dad is cooler than yours' in big red letters.

I carefully folded the clothes and stacked them in a pile. I grabbed the pile and made my way to the bathroom.

I quietly closed the bathroom door behind me and turned on the hot water. I stripped of my clothing after I set the pile of clothes down.

I stepped into the shower and let the hot water stream down my back. I reached for my fruit shampoo I got the day before. As I scrubbed it around my scalp I thought about Connor. I personally believe he is the thief that is coming on the quest with us. I mean, Tyson did call him a thief when I first arrived.

We're supposed to decide who is going with me on the quest today. The rule was that you can't have more than two others along with you, but the oracle said there HAD to be four.

I rinsed my hair and began to apply the conditioner. Connor was so looking forward to this quest. He had told me all about Percy and Annabeth, and how they had defeated Kronos. And also how later, they defeated Gaea. Awesome. I had met Percy once briefly. He seemed like a nice guy.

I squeezed some mocha body wash on to my scrunchie, and began to wash my shoulders. The smell was refreshing and sweet.

After I rinsed, I turned off the shower and stepped out. I grabbed the towel and dried myself off. After I put the clothes on, I applied some make up and blow dried my hair. It was really curly today. I put my hood up and slipped out of the bathroom quietly.

I made my way, avoiding all of the squeaks on the floor, to the dresser. Once I got there, I grabbed some socks and some light brown UGG boots. As I put these on, I glanced up at the clock on Michael's bed. It read 6:01.

I stood up and spritzed myself with some red fragrance and slipped my E.O.S Chapstick into my pocket. It was summer fruit (red).

I took one last look at the sleeping figures in the quiet cabin before I stepped out and shut the door behind me.

I took a deep breath, inhaling the scent of the salty sea. Once I stepped out of the covered porch, I felt the splatter of raindrops on my hood and arms. I jogged over to the pavilion in look of sustenance. Aka, coffee.

I grabbed a mug off of a small table in the pavilion. The mug was green and said 'go green' with a saytr on it.

I pumped some steaming hot coffee into the mug with peppermint creamer. I took a sip. Heaven on earth.

I walked over to a nearby table and sat down. There was some naiads splashing around in the puddles near the pavilion. They seemed so happy, so carefree, so thankful to be alive. I smiled to myself, I loved watching happiness in the process.

"It's a lovely morning for coffee."

I let out a little gasp of surprise to see that Percy kid looking down at me. He seemed a little sad, like the rain had washed all the smile. "Yes. Every morning is a lovely morning for coffee."
