IT DIDN'T MATTER HOW MANY TIMES that Angel has shadow traveled around with Nico, he can't say he'll ever get used to the feeling it gave him. It was an odd, almost unreal feeling as if he was moving so fast that his skin couldn't keep up with the pace that his body was moving at. It was so cool to him, yet his body didn't seem to think the same.
As he and Nico appeared in Connecticut, Angel stumbled a bit as his feet touched solid ground. He caught himself in time to turn and tug Nico into his arms as Nico's knees buckled. Angel was used to the cycle, they travel using Nico's shadow travel, he gets tired once they get there, Angel takes over for the time being while he lets Nico rest.
Nico let out a groan as he rested his hands on Angel's arms, trying to ignore the feeling of Angel's growing muscles under his touch as he glanced up to meet Angel's eyes, "I'm okay." He managed to muttered out as he reached a hand up to rub his eyes to try and get rid of the sleep that was forming in them.
Angel gave a small chuckle at the gesture, pulling Nico further into him. His arm sliding around his waist as he let Nico rest his head onto his shoulder. "I'm sure you are."
