THE LAST THING THAT ANGEL HAD EXPECTED THAT NIGHT was to see Silena Beauregard's face staring back at him in his dream. He felt himself freeze at the sight of her. She looked exactly the same as she had when Angel had last visited her. She still had those same glossy blue eyes staring back at him with regret and guilt shining in the low light of the room.

Angel felt his stomach churn as he realized what he was experiencing again. This wasn't the worst thing for him to be dreaming about, he had to give his mind that thanks. He could have been dreaming about Nico falling to Tartarus again or his mom burning his side with a fire poker, or Luke. Gods there were so many things, thank the gods it was just Silena.

The two were currently in Elysium, this was the first and last time that Angel had seen her before she moved on to the next life, leaving him and everything else behind. She had mentioned it in her letter, the very letter that she had written and give to Percy before her death, the very letter that was rested in his hands, on top of his lap.

It was slightly crumbled, and it was tear stained from Angel's previous readings of it. He's read it so many times that Angel could easily recite the wrenched thing on command, word for word. It didn't matter whether it was backwards or forwards, he could do it. He could have been asked to tell someone a certain word on a specific line and he could tell them what it was without faltering.
