CARRYING A HALF-ASLEEP child of Hades was not nearly as easy as it may sound nor as easy as Angel was making it look. He would rather die than admit the fact he was slightly beginning to struggle as he ran with Nico in his arms like he was some Disney princess he just rescued from the big bad dragon. He was curled up into his arms, his head resting on his chest as his arms were wrapped around Angel's neck loosely as he was blissfully unaware of the troubles that were brewing around them.

Thankfully, Percy was good for something in that moment and that was covering for them since Angel's hands were busy. His sword was held out in front of them, shining in the dark atmosphere of the Underworld. The spirits of the dead made a clear cut bath as though the Celestial bronze weapon was blazing fire and Angel had never been more relieved as he followed behind Percy with Nico snuggled into his arms.

He could faintly hear Nico mumbling in Italian under his breath. It was something he only did when he was extremely tired, which was pretty often. The sounds of his tired Italian murmuring were almost enough to tug Angel's lips into a genuine smile as he continued to run behind Percy.

The sounds of gongs rolled across the fields, ringing in Angel's ears. It was like they were chasing them. Ahead of them loomed the huge walls of Erebos, but it was almost like the more they ran towards them, the further they seemed to get. Angel could faintly feel his legs beginning to burn under him as he ran after Percy, trying his best to not trip over his own two feet leading to both his and Nico's deaths.
