IT SEEMED LIKE they found the source of their dark lightning.

The Argo II hovered directly over the river that flows wildly below them. A few hundred meters away from the river stood the top nearest hill was a cluster of ruins that Angel could only assume to be the House of Hades, or whatever was left of it. They didn't look like much, like anything really, just soe crumbling walls that encircle the limestone shells of a few buildings that were just barely standing but Angel was sure if he kicked them, he could knock them down like bowling pins. But from somewhere within the ruins, Angel could spot tendrils of black either curled into the sky, reminding Angel of a smoky squid that was peeking out from its sea cave.

Angel hummed lowly to himself as he stood on the deck with his arms crossed over his chest and a narrowed look on his features. He watched as a bolt of dark energy ripped through the air, creating a black hole within the blue sky as it rocked the ship from the force and power behind it. It sent a cold shockwave across the landscape that caused Angel to hold back the urge to shiver.

"The Necromanteion." Nico pursed his lips, narrowing his eyes as he stood at Angel's side, watching the same landscape he was. "The House of Hades."

Angel breathed out as he leaned his crossed arms onto the railing in front of him, his eyes glancing down to scan the river below them. He had spent far too much of his time under within the Underworld to not immediately recognize the river that flowed wildly under them. It was the River of Acheron that flowed proudly beneath their ship and Angel was happy that they hadn't decided that it was a good idea to settle down in the river.
