"You looked like you needed one, anyway I should get to bed." I mentioned as I excused myself to sleep.

Ciel's POV:

"Sebastian!" I yelled once (y/n) left.

Sebastian rushed in like it was the end of the world.

"Yes master?" Sebastian asked.

"Everything (y/n) said.. is it true?" I asked trying to remember.

"Yes, I'm afraid so." Sebastian replied.

"Very well, I'll be going to bed now." I muttered as I wanted him to leave.

I don't want to be left alone, but I don't want to be with an emotionless demon who only cares for eating my soul.

The next day I was in the study, like always. Until (y/n) decided to barge in.

"Ciel! I'm going out alright?" (Y/n) asked.

"You don't even know where anything is." I muttered keeping my eye on my work.

"I do too!" (Y/n) exclaimed.

"I'm assuming you ran out of books so you want to go to the library." I acknowledged.

"Here." I added while pulling out a book.

"I got this book for you before we closed the library." I stated

"Thank you!" (Y/n) shouted with joy.

"You could read in here, I'm sure it'll be more quiet than you're room." I commented.

"Yeah you're right, the servants get quite noisy." (Y/n) chuckled.

"Say, is Elizabeth really dead?" I asked, still in denial.

"I'm afraid so." (Y/n) mumbled. I saw she tensed up when I brought it up.

"Sorry, I'm sure you'd rather read than talk with me about these things." I claimed.

"You know, I think mothers right. I should spend more time with my nose out of the books." (Y/n) smiled as me as she put the book down.

I looked up from my work and put the pen away.

"Shall we play chess?" I asked with a grin.

"I'll win this time!" She confidently spoke.

"Don't get to cocky." I muttered, knowing she'll lose.

"Sebastian!" I called.

"Yes my lord?" Sebastian replied walking in to the study.

"Get the chess bored out again." I ordered Sebastian.

"Yes my lord." Sebastian responded.

"When I win, you have to tell me your deepest secret." (Y/n) smirked.

I can't let her win with a stake like that!

"How about something not personal?" I asked.

"Fine, you must do one thing you're afraid of." (Y/n) announced.

"That's still personal, however if that's the best your going, I'll accept it." I groaned.

"If I win, you have to stay by the servants sides and make sure they don't break anything." I added.

"Deal Mr Phantomhive." (Y/n) smirked.

Sebastian finished setting up the game in the middle of my study.
