Here we are, the finale of Hawkeye has just been posted so I recommend that you watch that and the entire series prior to reading this.

*SPOILERS BELOW*

As someone who is a huge fan of Hawkeye and Jeremy Renner, obviously, it felt like a dream to watch him onscreen as the character. Not only was it the 10th anniversary but he also finally got what he and Clint deserve. I'm gonna break down the series into a few parts so this will be quite long but I hope that you'll enjoy it.

Pt. 1: Characters

Clint Barton

It sure did feel good to see that man on screen and in a show with his name in the title for the first time

It sure did feel good to see that man on screen and in a show with his name in the title for the first time. Sure Thor has almost 4 movies, and Steve has 3, Tony has 3, Nat has 1...all that jazz...Clint finally got so much more, he got like 6 hours of onscreen action. Jeremy did a fantastic job with the character and he brought so much character to him that I truthfully wasn't expecting. He himself was so proud of the series and I can totally see why after watching all 6 of the episodes. There is true dedication and a need to please the audience for sure. Here are just a few of my favorite bits.
•He is now deaf! Episode 3 is dedicated to that fact and he had such a sweet conversation with his son Nate on the phone that Kate helped translate. It was so heartwarming and sweet and a needed moment between them.

•Clint showed his age during fight scenes and frankly it was a good thing, he's supposed to be the Avenger without the powers and the one that gets hurt so it worked

•All the very sweet Nat references like the talk with Laura about her, the parallel with Kate falling and the whistle at the end with Yelena.
•Clint was so Die Hard it was amazing. He just acted so much like McLean, especially in the last episode.
•Hawkeye LARPING...need I say more.
