They had finally done it. Puro and the human escaped through everything. The glowing sun beamed brightly on the two of them. It wasn't like the lights in the lab. It made the two of them feel warm...a constant reminder of the outside world. After this grueling adventure, the two of them needed their rest. They made their way towards a large rock and sat against it. Staring into the horizon watching the sun pierce through the city's ruins felt oddly satisfying. This was the payoff for their determination. This was their fate.
