The low beats and soft piano notes resonate for the twenty-seventh time through the speakers in his half-studio-half-bedroom, and soon accompanies it his mellow, sweet voice. The blue-haired man leans back on his cushioned computer chair, draining his third mug of cold coffee as he bops his head along to the beat.

"This should do it," he mutters to himself as the music stops, involuntarily twitching his head before saving the file into the folder where five other unuploaded songs are in— now six.
It takes everything in him not to upload it on his channel already, but he has to control his impulses and stick to his schedule. He has to make use of this sudden burst of creative motivation to make and record as many covers as possible. It isn't everyday he gets this energy, after all.

He yawns before stretching in his seat, and then starts to look through his 'Must-Do-A-Sing' playlist to pick another song to cover next, not giving himself a break simply because he thinks he doesn't need to at the moment. He could go on like this for another three hours, he thinks.

But his focus on scrolling through the playlist and picking a song is cut short as loud scratches and dragged out 'meows' catch his attention.

"Shit," he curses under his breath, guilt pooling in his stomach as he sets down the empty mug of cold coffee near his computer. Springing up to his feet and rushing to open the door, he is greeted with his deceivingly adorable calico pouncing and clinging onto his naked leg, claws digging into his shin a little, making him let out a long hiss while trying to get her off, "Ow ow ow Marble, let go, let go I'm sorry! Come on, please let go so I can feed you, I'll even give you treats!"

The cat seems to have calmed down at the mention of treats, and as soon as she withdraws her claws, she is picked up by him.
"Thank you, I'm sorry I forgot about din dins, Marbs. Come on, let's get you some noms and treats for being such a good girl," he coos, earning another annoyed 'mrooww' and a slap to the face from her, "Brat–" he gets hit again, making him turn his face away, "Okay, okay I'm sorry! Jeez."

He sets her down as soon as they reach near the kitchen, then walks to one of the cupboards where the cat food and treats are and scoops up the usual amount into her food bowl (he doesn't miss the promised treats today, unlike usual); and refills her water bowl with fresh water as she begins eating.

"Apparently I need noms too," he says to no one in particular, slipping his hand under his black oversized sweater and rubbing his stomach. He opens the fridge, only to see it being near empty, only some condiments and eggs along with a few other things present. "Right. Groceries are a thing," he says before checking the pantry to see if he at least has his favourite instant ramen noodles— all the spicy types— in stock.

But to his dismay, those aren't there either. Sighing, his auto-pilot mode turns on without him even having to reach for it. He walks back into his room and picks up a pair of black sweatpants and dark grey sweatshirt from his wardrobe before his eyes land on his still active computer, "Right." He turns it off after checking if everything has been saved.

He then checks his phone, 2:27am; September 1, it flashes. "No wonder," he nonchalantly says as he walks into the bathroom to take a quick shower before changing into the clothes.

Not ten minutes later, he steps out of the shower after the mini vocal concert he threw inside— the acoustics in the bathroom is something he always has and always will adore. There is nothing but a fluffy light blue towel wrapped around his middle, a few water drops dripping down from his hair and more than a few of those sticking onto his shoulders and back.

Soon he is not so naked anymore. Fancy yet simple silver hoop earrings dangle side to side as he makes use of his pierced ears, his favourite couple of minimalistic chain bracelets moving further down his arm as he brings it up to fix his long black and blue locks that he doesn't bother drying completely. He gives his damp head a final ruffle and a scratch with his long fingers, middle and little ones adorned with beautiful, unembellished black metal and silver rings; and another one with a black, square gem on his right middle finger.
