Y/n's POV

FIVE YEARS LATER

It's been a really long time since... what happened.

I made my own little hide out, my own hang out space, y'know, to hide from the world, and from everyone in it.

Ekko is now the leader of the Firelights.

He's been nagging me to join him, but let's be honest. That would mean joining a side. I don't wanna be on anyones side. I just wanna live. Live without enemies, live without responsibilities.

I did help Ekko build his community, it was the least I could do for him. I mean, he saved my life. He cared for me.

I talk to Powder. Well, to her voice. It hasn't left my head. She helps me get through tough times.

"I miss you. So much." I say to the air.

Her voice brings me comfort. It keeps me going.

"I'm not really gone, Y/n"

"Yes you are. I.. I killed you." I reply, a tear rolling down my cheek.

"Come and find me, then."

What?

She never says that.

"What? What do you mean?" I ask, confusion written on my face.

"I mean what I said."

"You're just a voice." I say, getting up.

"But you know, deep down, that I'm not really gone."

"Yes you are." I say, starting to get frustrated.

Why is she saying this?

"I just disappeared, There's a possibility that I'm not really dead."

That had me think for a second. She was right. No one knows what really happened. If I didn't keep fucking passing out I could know for sure.

Could she still be alive?

"If you are really alive, where would you be?"

"That's for you to figure out."

I groaned in frustration.

"Why cant you just fucking tell me? Just HELP me?"

"I am helping you. Figure it out. I always told you how smart of a girl you were. You can figure it out."

I stayed silent. I had to think about this. Hard.

Where is somewhere Powder would go? But she's older now. She might not have the same mindset as before.

Was there anyone else there?

I looked up in realization.
