"Can you tell I'm nervous" Kyle said making me chuckle as we walked into the building
"Dude chill, she told you that she wanted something more then a one night stand" I said before glancing at James
"Be glad you got that" I said before shaking my head breaking any opportunity for eye contact
"There she is" he nudged, I smiled pushing him towards her a little to give him the hint to go over to her

I smiled watched at the interaction unfolded, the moment he was close enough Jessica reached towards him pressing their lips together
She'll be around for a while, I know that much
Maybe she'll be a good distraction for him

"Hey" Nathan said coming and standing with me 
"Hey" I smiled in his direction 
"I had a good time the other night" He said nodding in my direction
"Me too" I said 
Maybe a little bit too much fun but I knew that wasn't what he was on about

"I've been doing some thinking" He asked as I closed my locker giving him my full attention, I looked at him before noticing James stood behind him with his hands formed into a fist
"What's up" I asked
"Would you want a redo?" He asked and I looked at him confused
"A what?" I asked
"You know, a redo of the date I messed up?" He asked and I chuckled
"Oh yeah, um no?" I said making him look at me confused
"What why?" He asked
"You said it yourself, you messed up" I chuckled before walking away

I was walking the halls of my free period. I would usually be in the Library but at the moment I was all caught up
"Peanut" A voice bellowed making me turn around to see James stood by his locker chewing on his tooth pick smirking at me
"And what class are you bailing on?" I asked placing my hand on my hips
"Nothing important" He chuckled coming over to me
"Wanna get out of here?" He asked making me look at him confused
"what?" I asked

"you heard me" He said placing his hands on my waist
"I have Chem in literally 20 minutes. I can't bail because Kyle is in that class and he'll notice" I said and James smirked
"Are you sure you can't bail" He whispered as he started guiding my backwards until my back crash gently into a wall 
"I'm sure" I said looking up at him, he was millimeters away before he chuckled
"Now that's a shame" He said before putting some distance between the two of us making me scoff at him

"Two can play at that game you know" I smirked making James look at me with his usual playful smirk on his face, He place on hand on the wall above my head supporting him while he used the other to take the tooth pick out of his mouth
"What game" He asked
I smirked again placing my hand on his cheek stroking gently
"The one where you get super close" I whispered our lips occasionally brushing against each others while I spoke
"then in the blink of an eye" I continued playing with the hair on the back of his neck
"Gone" I smirked moving away from him 

He chuckled with his eyes darken at the sudden game to our nature
"You know what I have to say about that?" He asked as I crossed my arms, I chuckled nodding 
"This" Is all he said  before grabbing may waist lifting me into the air crashing our lips together as my back laid against the wall he had cornered my too

"I'll always win this game Ri" He whispered as we pulled away
"Don't be so sure James, you don't know who you're messing with" I warned him before walking away, I turned a few passes away to see him smirking as he watched me walk away from him
