It feels like it's been hours since we got here, hours since some guy took Riley out of my arms rushing her away. Yet here we sit with no fucking update
"Anything?" Mum asked coming back over with Coffee for all of us
I looked to her shaking my head as she took a seat next to us
"I can't believe this all happened" mum said, I sighed placing an arm around her
"It's my fault" Kyle said looking up from his daze
"No Kyle, she wouldn't want you to be blaming yourself" I said 

We all know that if Riley was sat with us right now, she would be slapping us silly for thinking it was our fault even though we all know it is
Imagine if Kyle and I weren't home and mum didn't listen to Piper?
Where would Riley be then?
Would she still be on that fucking bathroom floor 

"I don't want to lose her" Piper said with tears forming in her eyes, I opened my arms out for her to which she happily came and sat in
"You aren't going to lose her Pipes" I whispered hugging her tightly
"Yeah, Riley will be back to dancing with you all over again soon" Kyle smiled at Piper
"and if you don't have your aerial by then, I think Ri is gonna be annoyed at you" I said making her laughing wiping her tears 
"She's always at me for that move" she said making me smile
"And when she's all better, you'll be able to do it" Mum said holding her hand giving it a little shake 

"Riley?" A doctor said coming out from behind two double doors. We all quickly rushed to our feet heading over to him 
"Hi, are you mum?" He asked putting to our mum
"unofficially yes" She said and he shrugged
"Did you want to come to the office so we can talk?" He asked looking at Piper with a small smile
"I would rather we all talk together" She said holding both Kyle and I's hands 
There was no second thought before he nodded taking all us into a room

"Riley is in poor condition, we've done all we can as of right now. We've pumped her stomach, we've given her an IV to try and keep her hydrate in the hope it would bring her temp and blood pressure back to normal" He explained
"the poor girl took a lot of medications. She knew what she was doing" he muttered making me narrow my eyes at him
"We can allow two people to go sit with her till she wakes up. Once she's awake, she'll only be allowed one over night" He said
I looked to mum at the same time Kyle did

"Boys go be with Riley but keep me updated. I'm going to keep Richard in the loop" She said smiling
"Can you give Riley a message for me?" Piper asked making me nod
She came over close making me bend down to whisper something into my ear
I smiled looking at me little sister
"I'll tell her" I smiled before watching Piper and Mum leave

"Alright follow me" The Doctor said guiding Kyle and I through the double doors until we got to a room, I looked at Kyle once more before we opened the door
She still looked just as lifeless as when she was on the bathroom floor except this time she had hundreds of wires coming in and out of her

This wasn't fair, how did shit get this fucked up..

I took a seat on the left side of Riley while Kyle sat on the other side
"She looks so pale" Kyle breathed out, struggling to fight back tears just like I was
"Why did we let it get this far?" I asked and Kyle shrugged
"I never meant for her to do anything like this" He said holding her hand just like I was

"I don't think any of us did" I sighed kissing the back of her hand
