"Come on slow coach!" I said watching as James trailed behind me slowly. It was later in the evening the following day. We decided to go for a hike just to be able to take in the view and to see the Sunset from the best possible spot
"Do you remember when our parents used to tell us one day we would bring someone special up here?" I asked making James chuckle as he finally caught up, he wrapped both his arms over my shoulder smiling at me
"Yeah, I reckon your dad knew by the way" He said making me look at him confused

"What do you mean?" I asked making him smile placing a kiss on my temple

"When he used to tell us that he would always smile at you before sending me a look. I think he knew that you were my special person" He smiled making me look at him allowing a smile to creep onto my face again

"Do you think so?" I asked and he nodded chuckling before the pair of us turning to take in the view

"How long do we get to stay here?" I asked making James him in response before shifting slightly to be able to pull me in closer
"until you want to leave" He whispered kissing the back of my head
"So if I was wanting to stay here forever like?" I said making him laugh 
"If only" He said
"Why can't we?" I asked making him sigh 

"Sadly eventually we need to return to the real world. You have exams coming up. I have college applications to start on" He said making me pout slightly

I would be lying if I had said I hadn't taken much thought to James going off to College. It's been something I've tried to push to the back of my mind but it wasn't working and I don't think it would be something I would ever be able to prepare myself for..

"Have you thought about where you want to go?" I asked making James shrug as we headed back down the hill
"i have a few ideas but nothing set in stone yet" He said brushing it off 

The moment he goes off to college, is the day things get complicated all over again. We had barely had the smoothest of sailings as it was. I don't think we needed this to add to it 

Through everything that had happened recently, there was this doubt in my head
This thought that maybe James deserved someone better, someone who was good for him. I knew that if I told him that he wouldn't agree
But maybe I was right..

We got to the cabin only to see the lights in the living room on making James chuckle while I looked at him confused 
"Did you forget to turn the light out? When did you even turn it on?" I asked making James roll his eyes while he pulled me inside 

As soon as we opened the front door, I could hear the chatter of some familiar voices and the deeper into the house the wider the smile. But the moment I saw who was stood in the living room. It felt like old times all over again 

"Riley!" Piper squealed running over wrapping her arms around me tightly allowing my to completely engulf her into a tight hug while Kyle came over to join us. His first exchange was a small handshake that the boys had created when they were younger and were too 'manly' to hug 

"What are you guys doing here?" I asked pulling away to hug Kyle

"that boyfriend of yours is able to talk us into anything evidently" Kyle said making James roll his eyes
"I figured we were at the cabin, what better people to spend the time with" James chuckled throwing his arm over my shoulder

"Now it can be just like old time" Piper smiled
"Minus the parents" James said
"and the fact Riley won't be sleeping in her own room" Kyle said making me roll my eyes

Piper and Kyle went off to grab something to eat from the kitchen, apparently Kyle wouldn't stop at all on the way up here so Piper was borderline hangry
But it allowed James and I time to be alone

 The moment the duo were out of sight in the kitchen, I turned to see James there chuckling at my expression
"Thankyou" I whispered placing my arms around his torso hugging his chest
"Of course babe" he said placing his head in the crock of my neck
"I knew you would need them more then you'd realise" He said as I looked up at him

"I love you" I whispered making James smile as he leant down pressing his lips against mine
"I love you most" He said pecking my lips again
