•Will you have this dance?•

It was finally the morning after a long grueling night, I woke up to find Camilo having his arms still rapped around me his curly hair in his face. I get out of his grasp and see the spare clothes that Mirabel has given me, I quickly change and comb my hair. As im leaving my room Camilo finally woke up,

"Good morning amor, how did you sleep?" He asked, his sleepy voice taking control

"Could have been better if I had more room on my bed." I joked, making Camilo frown,

"You look very pretty hermosa" Camilo says as he looks you up and down.

"Why thank you" I reply curtsying opening my door leaving Camilo alone. I walk down to the kitchen to get some food and see everyone eating breakfast.

"Hey Y/n right? Have you by chance seem Camilo?" Pepa asks.

"Oh yea thats me! And no I havent seen Camilo sorry" I totally lied but who would know

"She's lying, I saw them sleeping together earlier" Said a girl with very curly hair put up in a bun, I guess this is Dolores.

"Thanks for blowing my cover I guess" I laugh as I grab some fruit and head back upstairs to my room leaving everyone wide eyed, I see Camilo was still there about to leave,

"Well hello again princesa back so quick?" He laughs,

"You wish" I say as I grab a bag heading out again. I heard that today was Antonios gift ceremony so I set off to town to look for a gift, but then I see Mirabel and head to her instead.

"Hey Mirabel whats up" I ask,

"Oh hey y/n nothin much just chillin how you doin?" She asks back,

"Im ok still a but knocked up from yesterday but thats all" I smile, on cue again Camilo pops up behind me,

"Hey amor what ya up to?" He laughs wrapping his arms around my waist, Mirabel just stands there with a smirking face,

"Dont encourage him please" I whine trying to break free.

"Oh no im not gonna encourage this, Camilo get off her geez go do your chores." Mirabel scolded,

"Ugh you're no fun Mira" Camilo scoffs as he walks away,

"Thanks Mirabel hes so weird" I sigh

"No problem, he hasn't done this before tho so this is new to everyone I guess" she chuckles,

"Yea I can tell" I replied.

___________Later_________________

I started heading back to the casita to get ready for the ceremony when once again Camilo spots me and runs up,

"Hey mi amor what are ya up to now?" He smiles

"None of your business to know now is it hm?" I sigh

"Oh come on you're no fun~" He says standing infront of me

"Well if you're dying to know im going to get ready for the ceremony."

"OH SHOOT THE CEREMONY BYE AMOR" He said with wide eyes, I guess he really forgot about the most important part of the day. As I head inside I pass Pepa with a rain could looking for Antonio and enter my room. I change into a new pair of clothes and brush my hair once more making myself presentable. A few minutes later Mirabell comes into the room and crawls under the bed to talk to Antonio and thats when I take my leave. The ceremony was about to start so I pushed myself through the crowd and stand by the stairs, a few minutes later Camilo pushes his way to the front right by me,

"Oh hey amor, you look very beautiful " he smiles, I feel my face turn red,

"Thanks you dont look so bad yourself hm." I laugh,

"Of course I dont, im the hottest person in the whole family" he rolls his eyes,

"Sure keep dreaming" I laugh as Camilo stand there and pouts.  The ceremony is starting and Abuela gives a speech about the miracle, Camilo shuffles his way to me and wraps his hands around my waist again. Not wanting to cause a scene I decided to let it be and waited for her speech to end. Finally Antonio is revealed and looked very nervous so Mirabel walked him up the stairs and to his glowing door. Everyone was on edge as Antonio stood looking at his door as he slowly reached his hand to touch the knob. Instantly the room filled with light and I covered my eyes not to be blinded, suddenly a toucan flew onto his arm,

"Uhm Uhm I understand you!" He squeals as the door reveals a engraving,

"We have a new gift!" Abuela announces to the crowd and everyone bursts out in cheer. All of a sudden I feel Camilo pull me up the stairs to Antonios new room. It was a jungle theme with a big tree in the middle. After Antonio explored his new room, Abuela announced for a picture. I noticed Mirabel was not in it and turned to see her walking out of the room upset, I was about to follow her when Camilo grabbed me,

"Would you like to dance hermosa?" He smirked

"Of course." I smiled taking up his offer grabbing his hand as he leads me to the dance floor. The music starts playing as he grabs my waist and starts to sway me around as the crowd gathers to watch, he spins, dips, and does everything right. As the song comes to a end Camilo grabs my waist and pulls me close to him, we make eye contact. He slowly leans closer still keeping eye contact and slowly closes his eyes,

"Not yet amor" I tease as I put my finger up to his lip and laugh.

"Damn how rude" he jokes back as Pepa starts laughing at how he just got rejected. The night continues on and everything was going very well, me and Camilo just vibes to the music making jokes every so often and stand by watching Abuela attempt to dance laughing at how she desperately tried. When everything was going perfect, something had to happen,

"THE CASTIA IS IN TROUBLE AND THE CANDLE ALMOST WENT OUT!" Exclaimed Mirabel running quickly into the room in a panic.

"Show me." Abuela quickly said grasping her shawl walking out with Mirabel leaving a very confused crowd. Camilo quickly grabs my hand and runs out of the room to see what was going on along with Julieta and a few people from the crowd.

I spent a hour writing this its now 3am lol this is the longest chapter so far🤩
