Y/Ns pov

"Y/N?!" I heard my parents gasp,

"You two know eachother?" Alma asked curious,

"You can say that." I scoff sitting in my seat next to Camilo and Isabela,

"So much for ignoring them." I sigh,

"Its ok you can always leave if you need to." Isabela whispered smiling at me.

"Thank you." I smile back looking over to Camilo as he cracks a joke at me making laugh a bit.

"Y/N." I heard my mother say, everyone at the table went quiet,

"Yes.?" I sigh looking at my food not daring to make eye contact.

"Y/N look at us when we speak to you." My father grunted,

"Mi vida who are these people how do you know them.?" Camilo whispered holding my hand under the table,

"Im not ready to talk about it." I mumbled at Camilo feeling anger grow inside,

"Y/N look at me." I hear my mother say again,

"Um well how was your journey here!" Isabela smiled trying to get their attention off me, I looked to her grateful,

"Well after our town was burned we were lucky to escape with a few others and headed here since we had sent our towns children here. We didnt know if they had lived though." My father replied through gritted teeth looking at me.

"Wait. Raided town? Children? Y/N..?" Camilo whispered to me,

"Camilo just stop." I sigh playing with my food,

"How do you know Y/N?" Pepa asked curious, oh no.

"We are her parents." My father sighed,

"Whoa-" Luisa gasped, as Felix on cue spit out his water.

"We were able to escape town with a few people, we sent Y/N off to this town earlier. One of the people we saved is Y/Ns fiancé." My mother smiled at me,

"Fiancé?" Camilo asked quietly hurt but loud enough for everyone to hear as they looked to you,

"Yes fiancé they were set to marry after Y/N turned 18 but then the raid happened and all." My father smiled at me, everyone else sat awkwardly not knowing what to say,

"I would like for you to know Y/N that you will still be marrying him." My father continued,

"What..?" Mirabel nervously laughed as Pepa formed a cloud of thunder around her, Felix was trying to calm her down.

"Why didnt you tell me this Y/N?" Camilo asked sounding hurt,

"I wasnt ready to." I whispered fidgeting with his hand.

"Once we are moved in Y/N you will come back and live with us." My mother clapped her hands,

"What." I laughed perking my head to meet their eyes,

"You heard your mother." My dad sighed,

"Im not going to stay with you after what you did." I say standing up,

"I know this isnt a good place to talk about this and it will never be a good time. Its my life I can marry who I want for your information." I fight back and feel Camilo stand up too calming me down a bit.

"Dont raise your voice at us young lady." My mother warned,

"Or what you gonna hit me again?" I sneered back, everyones eyes went wide and Pepa thundered Luisa and Isabela were about to attack them.

"Y/N not here." My father gritted through his teeth.

"Whatever." I scoffed turning away before I felt a tight grip on my arm and see my father holding me with a death grip.

"Listen here young lady we are still your parents and you will obey us." He scolded,

"You will never be my parents." I spit at him before I see him raise his hand to slap me, I quickly close my eyes,

"Not so fast." Camilo said holding my father's hand making him let go of me.

"Why are you protecting this disobedient girl?" My father scowled at Camilo,

"Because no one should be treated like this." Camilo fought back,

"Why do you care are you two dating.?" My father looked angry staring at the both of us,

"Whats it to you?" Camilo scoffed,

"I am their father." He spat at Camilo,

"Well if you care to know yes." Camilo smirked before Luisa picked my father up and threw him out the door.

"You will not be welcome back in this Casita." Pepa scolded as Isabela used her vines to throw out my mom. I just stood by the stairs frozen to my spot looking at the floor. Now it was raining and a loud silence filled the air.

"Im sorry Y/N. You shouldn't go through this." Augustin spoke up everyone nodded in agreement.

"No im sorry. For ruining dinner with my family issues" I say tears filling my eyes,

"You dont need to apologize querida." Camilo whispered cupping my cheek with his hand as he placed a kiss on my forehead,

"Thanks Camilo." I whispered back as I walked upstairs before closing the door and breaking down in tears. A few minutes later I heard Camilo knock on the door.

"Y/N? Mi amor are you ok? Dolores said you're crying." Camilo said worry lacing his voice,

"Can I come in?" He continued. I silently unlocked my door as he opened it, and quickly threw me into a hug,

"Its going to be ok mi vida." He sighed,

"Ill always be here for you. I love you." He held me closer as I cried. After a bit he put me onto my bed and cuddled me,

"Ill always be here mi amor." He sighed playing with my hair,

"Ti amo Camilo." I smiled,

"Ti amo Y/N."
