Y/Ns pov

I woke up to Camilo's arms around me,

"Camilo time to get up." I laugh kicking him off the bed,

"OK OK JEEZ!" He yelps as he falls face first into the floor,

"ow." He groaned,

"TIME FOR BREAKFAST!" We heard Julieta from downstairs,

"Woah Y/N rough night?" Mirabel jokes looking at me,

"You can call it that." I sigh sitting down as Camilo sits next to me. As everyone ate I caught Felix, Pepa and Dolores looking at me alot smiling,

"Um whats going on?" I whisper to Camilo,

"What do you mean?" Camilo whispered back,

"Your whole family is smiling at me?" I laughed,

"Oh my god." He groaned glaring at his parents as they quickly looked away drinking their drinks.

"Well lets go!" Isa got up along with Mirabel and Luisa,

"Ok ill just grab something real quick." Mirabel smirked and ran upstairs. After she came down we headed into town.

"We need to get some food first!" Isabella clapped her hands as we ran to the market. While Isabella and Mirabel were arguing over what fruit to get (strawberries or mangos) someone had came up to me and Luisa,

"Hey Luisa theres some new people moving in and we were wondering if you could help them with a few of their bags!" A towns person said,

"Oh of course! Y/n would you like to come?" Luisa smiled at me as I nodded and followed the person to the new people moving in. When we got there I stoped dead in my tracks my heart dropped.

"Hello! You must be the new people!" Luisa smiled walking up to them, it was a man and woman. Luisa was helping them as I stayed glued to my spot but realized the woman had looked my way with wide eyes as she tried to get her husbands attention. I ran away as fast as possible to Isabella and Mirabel,

"WE GOTTA GO NOW!" I frantically whisper to them grabbing their arms and booked it to the mountains,

"Y/N WAIT!" I heard the couple shout behind me,

"Y/N WHATS GOING ON!" Isabella yelped jumping over a log,

"NO TIME TO EXPLAIN JUST RUN!" I gasped ducking under a branch,

"Y/N SLOW DOWN!" Mirabel pleaded but I didn't listen until we had gotten out of earshot and I could no longer hear the shouts of the people behind us, quickly I pull Isabela and Mirabel into a bush and slide down a tree.

"What the hell just happened?!" Isabela questioned,

"Are you ok?!" Mirabel panted,

"I saw them." I gasped holding my hair in my hands.

"Saw who?!" Isabela asked placing a hand on my shoulder,

"No,no,no, how are they here?! They are supposed to be dead?! I dont want to go back! I cant go back!" I cried into my arms scrunching myself into a ball,

"Whats going on?" Mirabel asked Isabela,

"I dont know!" Isabela replied with a concerned look on her face,

"I saw my parents."

Camilo's pov

As I walked to town with my parents I saw Mirabel and Isabela fighting over fruit when all of a sudden Y/N came rushing to them pulling them away frantically and running into the forest while a couple was yelling her name. Weird? I thought as me and my parents walked to a jewelry store.

Y/Ns pov (tw: mentions of abuse)

"What do you mean?" Mirabel asked placing her hand on your shoulder,

"When my town was raided..my parents sent me into the forest with all the kids because all the adults were being rounded up to be killed..they are supposed to be dead!" I cried looking up at them,

"But thats a good thing right?" Isabella gave me a comforting smile,

"I mean I love my parents alot but I didnt have the best childhood. My family was pretty poor and they set me up with a wealthy family without my consent. And when I refused they beat me until I agreed. Later that night I was meant to go on a dinner with him before the raid happened" I explained,

"I dont want to go back or talk to them. They are my parents but I don't forgive them." I sighed wiping tears from my eyes.

"Oh Y/N its ok we wont let them near you till you are ready." Mirabel smiled hugging you Isa joined in aswell.

"But hey look at the view from up here its amazing!" Isabela pointed out,

"It really is." I smiled getting up.

"Thank you guys." I hugged them,

"No problem." They smiled

A few hours later

"Well its getting late we should head back for dinner!" Mirabel suggested getting up stretching,

"Alright lets head down then!" Isa agreed as we started to walk back to town. Thank god we didnt run into my parents once we were outside casita,

"Oh there you guys are! Abuela wants us to get ready because we're having guests over!" Camilo smiled at us,

"Who..?" I asked with a bit of fear in my voice,

"She never told us but its best if we just look nice theres no need to worry amor." Camilo smiled walking up to you,

"Alright well were going to change then." Mirabel smiled walking away with Isabela,

"Why are you so worried?" Camilo asked concerned,

"Oh its nothing." I shake off my fear walking into casita before Camilo pulls me into a hug,

"I love you." He smiled,

"I know." I laughed pulling away walking into my room to change. I pull on a quick dress and tied my hair into a ponytail before checking myself out in a mirror.

"Good enough." I sigh opening the door to be jumscared by Camilo,

"SO LORD HELP ME-" I yelped jumping away,

"God you need to stop doing that!" I sighed clenching my heart,

"Sorry!" Camilo laughed,

"Lets head to dinner shall we?" Camilo smiled offering his hand,

"We shall." I laugh matching his energy as we walk to the dining room,

"Ah there you two are have you met our guests!" Alma smiled clapping her hands, Isabela and Mirabels eyes were wide and surely when I looked at who the guests were,

"Y/N?!"
