As Izuku steps into the large house he's not greeted with his usual kiss. Instead the air feels heavy with tension.
"Lou?" He calls out "Babe I'm home" he calls out when he gets no response from his wife
"I'm in the kitchen" she responds with no emotion in her voice, she truly hadn't been the same since the loss of their unborn baby. But this tone of voice held anger in it
Anger wasn't an emotion she didn't like to use often but when she did it wasn't a pretty sight
"What's wrong?" He questioned as he came into the kitchen. The green haired hero saw her lean into the counter with a cup of steamy tea in her hands
She was wearing a grey crew neck with some black sweatpants. She hadn't changed her clothes since yesterday morning and her hair was untamed along with dark circles that were prominent under her eyes
"What's wrong?" He asks as she looks at him with a side eye of betrayal
"Explain to me what happened between you and Ichika" she starts while setting her mug on the black marble counter "And please... don't leave anything out or try to sugarcoat it because I know what happened. Every last detail"
"Wha-?" His eyes widen "I don't understand" he stutters out
"Then I'll explain it for you!" She snaps while slapping the palm of her hand on the countertop "You slept with one of my friends! You went out after work one night and I trusted you!" She cries
"Lou I-...I don't..."
"I let you go out despite me feeling low because of what happened! I knew you needed some relief...just not like that" she looks at her feet
"Wait you're not pinning this on me are you?!" He frowns while starting to get defensive
"Who else cheated on me?!" She maintained strong eye contact with her husband who looked defeated by these events
"Oh hold up I'm sorry let me call Becca...or Denki..." she taps her finger on her chin "No wait! They didn't cheat on me! You did! So yeah, I'm pinning it on you!"
"Why is it my fault?!" He narrows his eyes at the brunette "She came onto me!" He turns away from his wife
"You're married!" Lou stabs her finger to his shoulder, showing her rage towards the man whom she had no love in her heart for at the moment
"What was I supposed to do if she came into me?!" He rubs his tired eyes
"Jeez I don't know" The doe eyed female rolls her eyes and scoffs "Maybe think about your wife at home who's still grieving over the loss of her unborn child!"
"Oh yeah totally" he laughs with little emotion attached to it "It's been three months Louise! Get the fuck over it!" He shoved her hand away from his shoulder and goes to walk up the stairs
"How could you be so fucking insensitive" she said in a low voice, shocked by the words that came out of his mouth
"I want a divorce" was all she said before shoving past him to go pack a bag
"Wait!" He calls after her "Lou babe... you have to know I didn't mean it like that" he pleads for mercy in this, but it's simply too late
"I'm done" she picks up her suitcase and head out of their once shared bedroom "I'm not coming back ether" the brunette makes her way down the staircase with her (now ex) husband in tow
"Babe please" he puts a hand on her shoulder as she reaches for the doorknob "I can't be without you"
"You should have thought about that before you made those horrible decisions" she starts "I hope you and Ichika have a lovely life together" she says before walking out into the cold January air
