"I'm sure I just have allergies" The raven haired teen brushes her symptoms off as forgetting her medication one day
"I dunno babe" her doting boyfriend worries as he comes into her room with a mask and gloves on "The new covid symptoms are what you're experiencing" he explains
"Here" he puts a piece of cinnamon sugar toast on her bedside table "I know you love this"
"I'm gonna get behind again aren't I?" She looks down at her comforter that displayed a pastel Ariel and Flounder
"Don't think like that honey" he smiles from under his mask while brushing the strands that fell out of her messy bun away from her face
"You know it's only been one day""But one day turns ta' two then before we know it it's been a whole week and I'm failing every class!" She frets to him
Yes, maybe her intelligence had something to do with it but majority of the time she fails and falls behind due to missing class and not getting caught up on assignments. It happened every time and she was sick of it... literally
"You know how it is" she huffs while calming herself down
"I'll help you" he reassures her "Let me go get some vitamins and you ll be right back" he kisses her forehead through the mask and goes to leave her unorganized and colorful room
"Oh no" he hears her sigh deeply
"What's wrong?" He turns back around to face her as she massaged her temples in frustration "One of my teammates has Covid" she winces
"Well" he tries to ease her tension "Maybe there's a possibility you don't have it"
"Psh yeah right" she rolls her eyes "I literally just talked to her face to face for 10 minutes the other day"
"That's not good" his eyes widen "I'll give you a minute to get dressed. I'll be waiting in my car" he closes her bedroom door
She sighs as she gets up to go to her closet. The online eyed teen puts on her black playboy sweats, a SpongeBob t-shirt, Kirishima's hoodie, and some sneakers
She takes her knotted hair out of the messy bun and redoes it before grabbing her mask and her shark plush
When she exits the elevator the glances and whispers of her classmates don't go unnoticed by her.
