"I heard the theater department is doing Chicago" Mina smiles as the Bakusquad sits at their lunch table
"Isn't that the one with the Cell Block Tango?" Sero asked the pink skinned teen as she nods, taking a bite of her salad
"Sure is" She answers
"That's one of my favorites" Becca glances up for a second before returning to the doodle of Kirishima on her math worksheet
"You're into musical theater babes?" Kirishima grins as if to tease her. However, she knows he means well
"Yeah" she nods while putting her pen down "I was thinking of auditioning"
"Seriously?!" Bakugo spat before Lou gives him an elbow to the ribs
"He means to be nice I swear" Lou rolled her eyes "But really? That's out of your comfort zone. I'm proud of you" she takes the ravenette's hand from across the table
"Thank you" she gets bashful
"I'm proud of you too babe" The redhead smiles "I know this isn't normally your thing so props to you for making the decision"
"Hey babe!" Kirishima smiles as he sees his girlfriend walk out of the auditorium from dance auditions
"Hi" she grins "I think I did really good!"
"Well, you are good with choreography" he shrugs "I knew you had that in the bag"
"Are you nervous to sing?" Lou asks as she fixes her glasses that fell down a bit "I mean, I know you don't really like to sing"
"Yeah. I'm a little nervous" Becca replies "But Liz actually sings with the other jail cell girls. So at least I won't be by myself when singing" she explains to the brunette
"Well" Lou starts "Fingers crossed" she shows the crossed fingers on both of her hands which makes the freckled girl giggle
"Callback list was just posted" Mina tells the ravenette as she takes her by the hand first thing in the morning and practically drags her to the board where the names were posted
"Ugh I can't see" Becca stands on her tip toes
"I gotcha babes" the 6'2 redhead grins at his girlfriend and picks her up to get a better view above everyone
"Oh my gosh! Eiji I made it to callbacks!" She wiggles with excitement as her chuckling boyfriend puts her down
"I'm so proud of you Becs" he hugs her tightly
"I knew you could do it"
"Jeez it's freezing" Lou complains as she adjusts her hat and sips her hot tea. Her and Kirishima eagerly waited outside the auditorium for Becca to be done with her callbacks
"So what are callbacks exactly?" The redhead asks the brunette
"They have you warm up vocals to see what your range is. Then you read scripts and act." She tells him "At least I think..."
As a crowd of smiling and laughing students walk out of the building Kirishima notices his girlfriend isn't in that crowd
"Hey Midoryia" Kirishima flags his friends down "Where's Becca?"
"I saw her walk down the north hall" he tells Kirishima "She seemed off"
"Thanks bro" the redhead nods before he and Lou go to find her and figure out what's wrong
"Becca! We've been looking all over for you!" Lou exclaims as they see her sitting on the floor looking down at her lap
"Hey why're you crying?" The brunette kneels down
"I-..." the ravenette sucks in a breath "I think they forgot about me" she starts to sob all over again
"Oh babe" Kirishima says sympathetically as he kneels down and hugs her
"Hell no!" They hear Lou say in rage "How dare they forget about you!" She exclaims as she barges back into the auditorium
"Why didn't you tell them?" Kirishima questions
"I didn't wanna seem bitchy"
"Becca!" She pants from running down stairs "They wanna see you" she catches her breath for a second before helping her friend to stand up
The freckled girl smooths her skirt and wipes her cheeks off before going back into the auditorium
When she comes out they expected a smile
But it was the opposite
"It's so stupid!" She pouts as she stomps past the pair. They look at each other, confused, before following her
"What's stupid?" The redhead questions
"Nothing" she scoffs
"Hey girlie" Mina walks into the green eyes teens dorm room with cookies as the brunette and the redhead try to get answers out of the moody teen
"They just posted the cast list. But I heard what happened"
"It's fine" she shakes her head and takes the plate "Let me look"
She opens the link and scrolls past all the people who were cast as actual characters to find her name, disappointment stinging in her heart when she reads that she will just be standing in the background to make things look authentic
"Oh" she tears up " I guess I should be grateful" she shrugs
"It's ok baby I'm proud of you"
"It's not fair...I tried so hard" she cries "But they literally forgot about me, told me to go home, then when I went back in there I did VOCAL WARMUPS for 2 minutes before they said I've heard enough thank you "

"No. I knew I should have just stuck to coming home and cheering" she states "It's all I'm good for...I just wanted to make something of myself"
