I thought sleeping normally was hard before. When you're pregnant it's a while different ballgame.
I could not for the life of me get comfy for a while. However, I finally decided on a position that would have to do for the night
Normally I was a stomach sleeper. I loved more then anything to lay on my husband's chest after a long day. But alas, being 7 months pregnant kinda restricts you from doing that
Eijirou was always so helpful. I knew he would give up sleep for me and for that I'm forever grateful. I know he has work in the morning and I do feel really bad for always keeping him up, but I just can't get comfortable.
So he finally came up with a solution to my sleeping problem for the night. He used his pillow to put under my bump while I slept on my side facing him.
I told him it wasn't necessary but he insisted while coming back with a couch pillow to sleep on. He was always such a gentleman
"It's kinda my fault you're pregnant Becs. It's the least I can do" he told me before we drifted off to sleep together
I'd managed to get a few hours of sleep before I was rudely awakened by this demon.
"mmmm-" I hummed uncomfortably as it moved all around and did gymnastics while I tried to rest. Oh sure it's calm all day but when I need sleep you wanna move!
"God" I open my eyes in frustration after trying to keep them shut and go back to sleep. I knew I had to get up and get the kids breakfast in the morning and take them to school so I really didn't wanna be up too late
I lay in the dark while facing my sleeping husband who snored lightly. Normally I would mind if he did, but he wasn't the one keeping me up so I couldn't be mad at him
"What do you want from me?!" I whisper shout
Just then my stomach growled and I got an instant craving for spicy noodles and Mochi. I knew we didn't have ether of those because I ate them earlier today.
I wanted to sleep it off but this baby was having none of that! I decided to do what I really didn't want to do and reach over to shake my husband awake.
"Eiji!" I shake him "Shima!"
"Hm?" He blinks him eyes open before yawning "Do you need help getting to the bathroom?" He questions in a sleepy voice
"No" I sigh " 'm sorry to wake you but I'm super hungry" I wince
"I can go make you something" he sits up while rubbing his eyes and looking at me as if to ask what I wanted
"Spicy ramen and Strawberry Mochi" I tell him and he sighs "Babe I thought you ate that earlier"
"I did" I tell him "But I really want it"
"I can go to the store tomorrow" he lays back down and I tear up. I'm definitely not getting sleep tonight. Because I was just kicked in the ribs...
"Woah wait!" He wipes my tears as I sniffed "What's wrong?"
"I just got kicked in the ribs"
Then he realized the situation we're in. If he was tired he couldn't imagine how tired I was. He knew carrying a baby takes a lot out of someone and if the least he could do right now was make a trip to the store, then he was sure as hell gonna do it
"Ok let's go" he sits up and helps me get up as well. "You gonna change or you going like that?" He asks, referring to my sweatpants and Red Riot T-Shirt that was still a little too big for me
"I'll go like this" I smile as he stands up and grabs a hoodie and some sweatpants to put on. "And I'll go like this" he has a sleepy grin on his face
"My cravings have been weird lately" I spoke as we drove down the dark highway to get to the store
"What do you mean?" He asks, not taking his eyes off the road
"Like tonight" I start off "I want spicy ramen and Mochi. Sweet and spicy" I explained
" I mean..cravings are normal" he tells me "But I don't know babes. Are you gonna like the spicy ramen? You hate spicy food" he reminds me
"I had it for lunch" I remarked "And I didn't mind the spice"
"I guess little man likes spicy food" he smiles and intertwines his hand with mine that rested on the center console
"Ok get whatever you want" He smiles at me as my expression lights up
"Really? Cause I'm hungry for more than what we came for" I laughed
As we walked down the noodle isle I grabbed three bowls of spicy ramen (just incase ya know?)
"Oh I can't wait to eat all of this!" I grin as he just smiled at me and continued with our journey around the store
"Oh popcorn!" I grab a big bag "Can I get it?" I ask him
"Of course" he ruffles my tangly hair
When we finally make it to the freezer section I already have 3 bowls of ramen, a bag of popcorn, a box of Pocky, and some soda
"I'm gonna watch a movie!" I tell him about my plans for when we get home
"Hmm. Netflix?" He mischievously grins and I shut it down real quick "No way! My sex drive has been so low" I explained
"That's fine honey" he laughs "I was only joking with you" my husband kisses the top of my head. I go to kiss his lips when I hear two familiar voices
"You're depriving me of sleep Louise!"
"Don't pin it on me! Tell your demon that!"
I look towards the Mochi section and see Lou and Katsuki. My all time favorite best friends
"Lou Lou!Hey!" I wave at the brunette as I waddle over to her. She's not as pregnant as I am. Maybe two months along. But she sure as hell had cravings and the basket full of food to prove it
"Hey Becs!" She hugs me the best she can "Late night cravings?"
"You know it" I grin as I see Kirishima walk over
"Holy hell babe you're fast" he pants as he catches his breath "Can't keep up with a pregnant lady?" Bakugo laughs at his friend and Kirishima gets defensive "I totally can"
"So what are you getting?" I ask her and she light up at the topic of food "Mochi, Green Tea, matcha, chips, and I've had the worst Spicy Ramen cravings lately"
"No way me too!" I exclaim
"Let's go Lou" Katsuki pouts "Pick out the Mochi and go. It's way past your bedtime"
"She has a bedtime?!" My eyebrows furrow and I look offended for her "Yes she has a bedtime" Kirishima starts while putting a hand on my shoulder "And you do too. So let's get a move on"
"Ok ok" I hold up my hands defensively "Can I get two mochi's?"
"Sure babe" he rubs his eyes and I smile
I grab the strawberry and green tea flavor and after that we make out way to the register to check out.
"See you later!" I wave to Lou and Bakugo
"Bye! I'm coming over to watch real housewives tomorrow!" She reminds me "Of course!" I smile
