After 2 days, Zenitsu finally defeated the demon. He now walked much more calm to the Butterfly Estate but still in a hurry as he didn't like the idea of being alone. When the blonde slowed down, his little sparrow make sure to hit him gaining an 'ouch' and an 'okay, okay' from him.
Finally the blonde arrives, he was so tired after the previous fight he didn't even bother that he was alone. He didn't even notice all the decorations.
When Zenitsu arrived, the house was empty so he decided to take a quick shower and change clothes. Since his uniform was dirty, he decided to wash it. Too tired to pick any clothes he put the Butterfly Estate's pyjamas. Only this time, the clothes did actually fit. Still a bit large though.
A little lonely, he wondered around the whole mansion but didn't see or heard anyone.
Zenitsu: 'Isn't that strange? It's empty'
He looked around once again but nothing. It only took a couple of minutes and he was desperately bored.
Zenitsu: 'Well, I'm lonely. I guess they are training.'
It passed a minute of silence.
Zenitsu: 'I'm bored.'
He stood there thinking what to do next.
Zenitsu: 'I'm hungry. I guess I'll make food, it can't be that hard'
The blonde then headed to the kitchen.
Meanwhile, Nezuko wandering around. Since it was winter, it turned night much earlier, making it an advantage for demons to lurk around. Including Nezuko. To our surprise, a celestial haired demon was next to her -also known as Yushiro- having an actual conversation.
Since Miss. Tamayo was discussing something with Kocho, Yushiro had to stay in the meanwhile in the Estate. He was so bored until he found Nezuko.
CRASH 💥
Yushiro and Nezuko jump back in surprise. They head to the kitchen where the sound came from and found Zenitsu cutting vegetables with a tray on the floor.
The boy greets them happily, delighted to actually find someone inside. Nezuko, lovely as always, rans to hug him, making him smile. Yushiro just stares and walks next to them. Zenitsu has met this demon once while he was in a mission with Tanjiro and Inosuke, they fought (teasing each other) but got quite along. To not be rude he pats his head and greets him (again) happily. Surprisingly, Yushiro doesn't fight. Miss. Tamayo taught him to be much kinder to others and himself.
Of course, the demons can't help but ask about the mess.
Zenitsu: Ohhh yeah.. I wanted to make ramen for me and the rest when they arrive! Can you help me? It would be much more fun!
Nezuko jumps of excitement and nods. She takes a piece a paper and writes 'Yes! I haven't cooked in ages.'.
Yushiro thinks about it for a minute but in the end he agrees, thanks to Nezuko. The rest of the afternoon was filled with laughter and any subject they could talk about.
Zenitsu: Well, now all we need to do is put it in the oven!
Yushiro: Wait. What. Put it in the oven?
Zenitsu: Yeah! My gramps' special recipe
Yushiro: I don't think that works like that. But- you know what whatever.
