Even though a week has passed, everyone was still tired from the party.
Zenitsu is sitting outside in the garden. The night was peaceful and everyone has felt asleep. He can hear the sound of owls and animals around him, even the small insects on the ground.
"Hey..." whispers a voice behind him "I brought your drink."
Tanjiro hands him one of the drinks in his hands, sitting beside him.
"Everything is so peaceful when is nighttime..." he says looking at the sky.
The blonde smiles, taking a sip of his hot drink.
"Yeah..."
They both stay quiet before the burgundy male interrupts it.
"Hey, it's been a while and I was thinking of something."
"Really? What's that?"
"Since this battle is over and everyone is trying to keep going with their normal lives, I was searching around and.."
"And what?"
"I've found a house near, it's only a 15 minute walk here. And it's near the village as well."
Zenitsu is shocked, staring at his eyes before smiling softly.
"It's small but not that small, and it's really cozy. It's in the forest like..."
"Like our dream?" Zenitsu chuckles.
"Yeah. Full of flowers and trees. No one could bother us."
"What about your sister?"
Tanjiro takes a deep breath.
"I hate to say this but...Nezuko is a grown woman now. She says she wants to stay here in the a butterfly state with the girls. And maybe she'll find something in the future."
"I see...and the boar head?" He smiles
"Inosuke...he could live with us for a while. But I'll doubt he'll stay with us any longer before moving in with-"
"Aoi!"
They both laugh.
"That's right! Those two fight a lot but I see it in their eyes, and they have those moments as well..."
"They are way too obvious. Who knew that dumbass could be such a softie?"
"So..what do you say? It's not far from here, we can visit everyone. Our family. And we have resources near too!"
Zenitsu starts laughing.
"Oh my god! You still are too innocent! What do you think I was going to say? No?! Of course, you big dummie!"
He launches towards him. Tanjiro embraces him softly before giving him a kiss.
"So, you believe dreams can come true now?"
"Hmm...maybe." Zenitsu smiles, holding his hands.
They both don't let go. Their life was really going to be fine.
