For the first time ever, Zenitsu woke up happy this morning. He didn't feel sick at all.
When he arrived at the kitchen, he ate his whole breakfast. Satisfied.

Zenitsu: Ah! Oh. Hi Tanjiro.
Tanjiro: Hello!
Zenitsu: You look happy.
Tanjiro: I am!
Zenitsu: I'm glad.
Tanjiro: I'm going training now. Make sure to rest, okay?

The male leaves the room.

Today was quite a boring day. The blonde didn't have anything to do.
He did his usual routine, help with some chores, talk with Aoi, discuss medicine with Shinobu and take a walk.
By the time he finished, it was already the afternoon. He was now in the garden, staring at the pond with the fishes.
Zenitsu: 'I'm so bored. I wonder when the others finish training..'
He started drawing on the dirt with a stick.
The back door is opened. Shockingly, by Iguro.
Iguro: Hi Zenitsu.
Zenitsu: Hello..why are you here?
Iguro: Have you seen Mitsuri? We've been searching for her everywhere but we can't find her. I thought she might be with you.
Zenitsu: That's strange. I haven't seen her.

Iguro: Please, that would be wonderful. I'll look around her house while you check in here.

Suddenly, he hears whimpers.
Zenitsu: Mitsuri?
He opens the door only to see his best friend with tears in her eyes.
Zenitsu: Why are you crying? What's wrong?
Mitsuri: I didn't want you to look at me like this! It's just- I've been so stressed earlier.
Zenitsu sits by her side.
Zenitsu: Really? Why?
Mitsuri stares at him.
Mitsuri: I don't want you to die. I can't-
Zenitsu: Mitsuri we talked about this. There is nothing we can do-
Mitsuri: But there is! And trust me, I can't not bare the thought of you dying. These past weeks I tried to keep it cool. But I can't. I really can't!
She cries even more.
Zenitsu feels now ashamed. He gives her a hug.
Zenitsu: I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. You know what?
Mitsuri: What..?
Zenitsu: I'll think about it.
Mitsuri's face lightens.
Mitsuri: Really? You're serious?
Zenitsu smiles.
Zenitsu: Yeah
Mitsuri laughs and hugs him even tighter.
Zenitsu: But now you need to be with the others. They've been searching for you all this time. Especially your love, Iguro.
Mitsuri blushes.
Mitsuri: Okay, okay!
They both walk out the room. They go outside where they find the rest.
Iguro hugs Mitsuri and gives her a kiss on the cheek.
Iguro: Are you okay?
Mitsuri: Yeah! Just needed some alone time, sorry!
Iguro: Never say sorry to me.
Zenitsu looks at the couple holding hands. He smiles and goes inside the Estate.
Once in his room, he lays in his bed.
Zenitsu: 'That was quite a day.'
He thinks about what Mitsuri said.
Zenitsu: 'Maybe Nora was right. This sickness is making me feel like a burden to them. Maybe is better if I just...'
He stops his thoughts.
Zenitsu: Don't let them take over you.
