{ SEASON 4, EPISODE 1 }
it's been quite a while since tess had any interaction with her *old* friends at Miyagi-Do. she does miss them, especially eli, but she felt betrayed. she thought eli would've stayed with her and he thought she would follow him. guess they were both wrong.
eli misses his best friend more than anything but he's slowly learning to move on. he's finally learning to let the good things come to him and he's come to his senses and realized he can't fight his way into everything.
hawks currently training at the miyagi-do dojo while tess is trying not to drown in her own tears as she puts eli's belongings in a cardboard box.
the pictures of them, the sweaters he gave her 'cause he didn't want to be reminded of his past though tess loved him before the mohawk so much, the jewelry he gave her, the cute little art projects he made for her from when they first met till their last normal interaction. everything.
tessa planned on just being the bigger person and going to eli's house to drop everything off, so that's where she's headed
she just got to the moskowitz household, nervous to knock but did it regardless
"tess! how are you hun?" mrs moskowitz hugged the brunette girl "i'm great, how about you?" tess smiled "we're doing great. want me to call eli up?" she asked "yes, please" tessa nodded, not stepping in the house she used to love to be in
"you can come in, you don't need an invitation" mrs moskowitz smiled "i think it'll be easier if i stay out here" tess awkwardly chuckled
hawks had a shitty day. he feels left out at miyagi-do, johnny made people practice their front sweeps on him, and the only person who really made him feel whole, who always understood, was by his front door with a box full of their memories
"i just came to drop this off" tessa said as she held out the box with eli's name on it "i don't want it" hawk shook his head. he thought that if he doesn't take the box, he'll still have a little bit of tessa's heart
"too bad hawk" tessa coldly said "it's eli" he corrected "so now it's eli?" she asked "when it comes to you, yes" eli said "i know what you're doing and it's not gonna work" tess said "just please take the box" tess said "no" eli refused "fine" tess said "then i'll leave it here" she said putting the box down then walking away, tears threatening to spill from both their eyes

tess sat in her room, sulking in her bed, when she heard rocks being flown at her window
she paused her show as more rocks were being thrown and when she finally got off of her bed she seen
eli
she quickly opened her window "what the hell are you doing?" she whispered "can we talk?" eli asked, tess sighed before closing her window
eli thought she bailed on him and was about to walk away when the front door opened, revealing tessa
"let's talk" she sighed once more
"i know i should be really fucking pissed at you, but i'm not" eli sadly chuckled "i'm not and i don't know why" he continued
"i just can't see myself being mad at you" he said
tess just stayed silent, not knowing how to respond to the boy walking next to her
"i know you should be mad at me, and you have every right to be... but, i'm really glad you're not" tessa said with all honesty
"you are?" eli asked "yeah" the girl nodded "and i'm sorry for everything that went down that night" she apologized "i shouldn't have... shouldn't have chosen a side, i should've just stayed out of this" the girl continued
"and... i love you too" she finally said
"you do?" eli asked, surprised "yeah" tessa admitted with a smiled "and i should've told you that sooner" she said
eli just looked at her before kissing her, she instantly kissed back with a smile
it was the next day and both tess and hawk went to their dojos with smiles on their faces
"hey, robby" tess smiled after she entered the cobra kai dojo "what the hell happened here?" she asked as she looked at bunch of cobra kai's on the floor
"over at miyagi-do, our enemies are uniting against us.
they think by working together, they have the advantage.
they think that they're better than us.
and i should know because i used to be one of them.
that officially ends today.
i'll admit, at first, i didn't want to join cobra kai.
but eventually, we all need to look ourselves in the mirror and realize who we really are.
now, we may have taken some losses, but it's not about how you start.
it's about how you finish.
and to beat the enemy, it helps to know the enemy's playbook.
so i'm gonna teach you miyagi-do karate, so we can beat miyagi-do karate" robby said as tess and tory stood beside him
