CHAPTER 22 - THE FAVOR

Evening

// ENOSHIMA HIDEOUT - Hajime's Room 3rd FLOOR//

Hajime's POV

I was woken up by the cold temperature of the room, sending shivers all over my skin, especially on my nape, as it was not covered by my blanket.

Too cold... I just want to sleep some more.

I pulled my covers up to the back of my head only to be interrupted by a throbbing headache. I placed my hand over my head in attempt to ease up the pain a bit but it seems like it wasn't going anywhere anytime soon.

I could feel my throat dry, almost begging me to drink something to quench my thirst.

Water. I could use a glass right now.

As much as I'd like to stay in bed, I think I need to use the bathroom as well.

Still half asleep, I slowly sat up. A sudden jolt of pain on my back made me flinch in surprise.

"Ahh-!".

That stings! Why does my back even hurt like this.

I hissed in pain and stood up from my bed. My legs feel bit wobbly, making me hold on to the bed's head board and the side table as I slowly made my way to the bathroom.

Everything looks as if it was spinning, giving me a hard time with my balance.

I turned on the lights on the bathroom and looked around for a moment.

I almost forgot that this isn't my dormitory.

I groggily walked towards the sink to wash my face, making me face a half length mirror.

I noticed a small cut on my lip, making me squint and lean on the mirror to take a look closer on my reflection.

Touching it made it sting a bit, having me convinced that it is indeed a small wound.

I don't remember getting this cut earlier.

My eyes wandered over my bare top, making me notice some small red patches on my chest. I ran past my hand over it and it didn't really hurt or itch like an insect bite.

What the hell are these...

I suddenly froze and my eyes slowly widened as I finally recalled what happened earlier.

The suspicious drink... seeing Komaeda in his room with a lady on top of him... Me, running off to my room to get myself off... Getting caught by Komaeda in the process.. and doing it with him... Even giving him off a consent.
