The next few days went on. Jimin decided to stay back to take care. She locked herself in her room and only granted access to Jimin, that too once in a while. She took days off from her work, her physical condition forcing her to live where it kills her.

"Haru, I brought food," Jimin came in with an ever-ready smile. She smiled at him as he placed the tray on the bedside table.

"Haru... I know this is not the right time to rush things but..." He sat down on the bed, his hands on his knees.

She looked at him with a quizzical expression.

"You need to legalize your wedding and have to go to the registrar's office."

She looked down at his nervous hands gripping his knees tightly. She mildly nodded, "when?"

"In a day or two, whenever you feel comfortable." He passed with a relieved tone and relaxed body frame.

"I'm fine whenever. Have to do it anyway."

He looked at her dull figure empathetically, changing the topic.

"So, how's the little one?" He looked down to her belly with loving and adoring eyes.

"Just looking what an dork it's uncle is," she chuckled.

"Mommy is a blabbermouth little one, don't listen to her," he said as he placed his hands on her belly.

"You think you are blocking its ears by doing so? Really Chim?"

"Then what should I do? I don't know where my champ has its ears!"

"It doesn't! Do you think a fetus of not even a month will have defined ears? Did you skip mid-school?" She laughed.

"Look look little one, judge who is a dork!"

Jungkook stood outside the room, just hearing her laugh for the first time in a while made sunshine flood through his soul. The warmth her dulcet voice was providing such a sense of tranquillity that gave strangling life a purpose.

He smiled along, behind the walls, living in her voice. Just she didn't know.

As Jungkook and Haru stepped out of the registrar's office, they were surrounded by a crowd of reporters, their bodyguards kept them away from the couple with great difficulty.

Looking at such a great crowd in front of her eyes, she felt scared and unconsciously held his arm, squeezing it a little.

He was taken aback by the contact, his eyes first laid on her hands gripping his arm and then upon her terrified face. The euphoria he felt in the moment was far beyond his ability to express.

She still had a little trust in him.

He wanted to place a hand over hers and caress them but he was afraid that she would retreat, so, he did nothing at the moment.

"So, Mr. Jungkook, what took you guys so long to legalize your wedding?" One of the reporters asked.

"Sorry, please excuse us," he said calmly as he moved ahead.

"Mrs Haru, can you give us a glimpse of your married life?" Another one intervened.

Her grip on his arm tightened as he replied on her behalf, "this is our personal life, we would not like to comment."

As they were moving ahead one of the reporters' hands brushed against hers to which she flinched and hid behind his muscular frame.

Anger flashed in his veins looking at the outrageous act of the person.
