Hope POV

"Okay, don't ever scare me like that... so when are you guys coming back?" I asked

"We should be coming back maybe tomorrow, just in time for school, I mean we still have a funeral to plan but we not going to be down here because my mom says she's going to plan everything and stuff.. so that leaves us time for planning and then we can come back down here in a month or so and this time you guys can come" Ethan says

"I have things to do so maybe I will call you later but I'm sorry about grandpa Kevin... I know how much he meant to you guys and The gang and I will plan something to cheer you guys up" I said

"Please don't be a party, I'm not down for that... plus I have to deal with maya now so I will call you" he says

"Okay, love you eth" I said before hanging up

I love all the gang don't get me wrong but I have never really said the words 'I love you' but I did tell every single member of the 8 that I love them... why? Because I meant it and if I, hope mikaelson says that I love you.... You better cherish it... I don't just say it to anyone.

"Hope?" I heard someone say

I turned around and It was Penelope.

"Listen penny, I'm sorry for getting all mad on you... I'm such a douche and I hope you can forgive me" I said

I put my hands out so she can hug me.

Her serious face turned into a smile with confused eyes.

She walked over to me and hugged me.

"So, what did you want to tell me?" I asked as I pulled away from the hug

"Nothing, I just wanted to ask you how maya was doing" Penelope says

"She's fine, Ethan went to go pick her up from somewhere, my guess is she got drunk and woke up in some random place, I'm glad she's safe and stuff" I said

"Yeah me too" she says

She smiled and she was getting ready to walk away.

"You know penny, you can tell me anything right? I will always be here for you so if you ever have something on your chest that you need to tell me just let me know" I said

"I'm glad I can count on you" she says before walking away

She seemed off these couple of days but I didn't push her to speak because I wanted to give her time to tell me what was wrong.

Maya POV

I got into the car,

"How much alcohol did you drink? Like on a serious note? Because I have been sitting here and you still look drunk" Ethan says

"Is mom up?" I asked

"That's all you gonna say? I'm over here worried about you and that's all you say? Gosh I can't believe you" Ethan says

"Can you just shut the fuck up? I have a headache" I said

"You have a headache, well I had a heart attack" he says

"Your breathing fine so it wasn't that bad I guess" I said

"I'm taking you home and you will tell mom about this drunk shit" he says

"Ethan I think I did something bad" I said

"No shit" he says

"No like, I had sex with someone that wasn't Brittany" I said

"Since when are you and Brittany dating?" He asked

"That's not the point, the point is that I had sex with someone and I don't remember" I said

"You don't remember? So how the hell did you have sex with them?" He asked

"When I woke up the person said that we had sex and my center area felt weird" I said

"What the fuck? Who is this motherfucker?" He asked

"I don't want to talk about it" I said

"Maya..." he started off

"No. I just want to go home" I said

He sighed and started the car.

Hope POV

I went to my room and Josie was sitting on her bed reading a book.

"Hey there princess" I said

"Hey, is maya okay?" She asked

"Yup, she was drunk and Ethan just found her" I said

"I hope nothing bad happened to her" she says

"Same." I said

I walked over to her and pecked her on the lips.

I still haven't asked her to be my girlfriend and it's kinda hard now.

"So how are you and your sister doing with the whole thing with your father" I said

"I don't want to think about that right now" she said

"Okay fine, let's talk about my family" I said

She put her book down but not before closing it with the bookmark in it.

"What about them?" She asked

"Well, my dad wants my girlfriend to come to family thanksgiving thing that's happening next month." I said

"Wait really? Who are you bringing?" She asked

"Don't play dumb Josette , you're practically a mikaelson now, my father stood up for you and that's a lot seeing as he doesn't like people that's especially when they aren't family" I said

"Well, you didn't technically ask me to be your girlfriend so I don't know about that" she says

"Well I will ask you very soon, but not right now." I says

"Mmm, let's talk about something that happened today that was so interesting" she says

"What happened that was so interesting" I said before I crawled in the bed and laid next to her.

I put my arms around her and she picked up her book again.

"You said something today to me...it was like 'I love you' and then you kissed me and walked away" she says

My eyes widen up in shock.

What the fuck? When did I say that.

I lifted up.

"Jo I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to make it weird between us-" I was saying but soon caught off by a kiss.

When Josette pulled away she smiled.

"Why are you smiling?" I asked

"Because... I- I-" before Josette could say whatever she was going to say someone opened the door.

"Great" I said

I turned around to reveal... Alaric?

"Get out... you are going to a different school" he says

He walked over to Josette and grabbed her arm.

I jumped up in front of her.

"I think you should leave before I kick your ass" I said

"I think you should step away before I make your life a living hell" he says

"Talking Josette is making my life a living hell" I said

"Well sounds bad for you I guess" he says

"I'm old enough and I'm a grown ass women, get off of me" Josette said before pushing him off

"I will make you leave, mark my words" he said before storming out.

I just looked at Josie and she seemed scared.
