Josh's POV

I woke up to a text telling me I needed to get back to the bus. I looked over to see Rhiannon sleeping peacefully. It looked like she had slept through the night and had stopped sweating. I gently pulled my arm out from under her and walked out on the balcony for some fresh air. I knew that if it was time for the bus to leave soon, that meant the crew would be leaving soon. I glanced back at her, I didn't have the heart to wake her up, I knew she was exhausted. I quickly texted management to let them know that she wouldn't be coming in today, and that she wouldn't be riding with the crew. I made a few extra calls before writing her a note:

Good morning my sweet, I apologize for leaving without saying goodbye, but I had to get back to the bus and you were sleeping peacefully. I have left all the meds and the hot water bottle on the side table in case you start feeling bad again. I took the liberty of calling you out of work today seeing as I didn't know how you were feeling. When you are ready to head to the next location give me a call and I will send a car for you. I also got the spa package for you at the next hotel, so please take advantage if you are feeling up for it. Josh

I made sure all the meds were in her reach and refilled her glass of water. I quietly packed my duffle and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead before leaving the room. I got back on the bus just in time.

"Where have you been? We were literally about to leave you." Sam said as I walked on the bus

"Where do you think I was Sam," I said as I rolled my eyes

"Hey, you're back. How is Rhiannon?" Jake asked as I walked past his bunk.

"She was worse off than she made it sound on the phone last night." I had been sitting next to Jake the night she called, he immediately put it on speaker and I had decided I would be the one to go, I didn't care if she found out I was lying about Rose. She was sick and I needed to know she was ok, and help her if she wasn't. I knew if she was asking for help, it had to be more serious than she was letting on. "I'm glad I was the one who went, she was in a lot of pain, but she is better today as far as I can tell. I did take her off the schedule for today and buy the spa package for her at the next hotel."

"Did you really?" Jake asked surprised

"I did, she deserves the best."

"She deserves the best or was she was mad to find out about Rose being fake and this is your attempt to fix it.." Danny asked opening the curtain of his bunk, smirking

"To my surprise she was relieved, she ended up telling me she wants to be exclusive...at least thats how I understood it." I shrugged as I smiled

"Thats what you wanted right?" Sam asked as he leaned against the wall

"Of course thats what I want, I know it sounds cheesy but I am so in love with her, I'd ask her to marry me today if I knew she wouldn't run the moment I asked." I laughed, but I was serious

"That seems a bit drastic," Jake said,

"I'm obviously not going to do that, Instead I'm settling on asking her to come home with me for Christmas." I said as I turned to go into the bathroom.

"Mom would love her," Sam said as he climbed into his bunk

"I know she would, I really hope Rhiannon says yes. I'm going to take a shower and then I'll facetime mom if any of you want to join." I quickly showered then settled at the table, the boys crowding around me. I pushed the call button and we all waited till she answered,

"There are my boys!" She said with a huge smile on her face as she showed up on the screen, "I miss you all so much!"

"But you miss me the most right?" Sam said leaning in front of me and getting his face close to the camera, We all laughed and shoved him
