Rhiannon's POV

The whole days drive Josh had promised would mentally prepare me to meet his parents flew by. We had gotten to Frankenmuth around 7pm. I stood in the bathroom on the bus staring in the mirror trying to calm my nerves. Trying to fix every curl, wanting to make a good impression. I heard a knock at the door.

"Babe, good news for you. The parents went to go pick up Ronnie at the airport and won't be back until late, So I told them I would introduce you tomorrow at the party instead." Josh said as he stepped in the bathroom, positioning himself behind me as he spoke to me through my reflection.

"Oh thank god." I said as I dramatically fell back onto him, taking a deep breath, he giggled as he wrapped his arms around me,

"I've never seen you this nervous over anything. I'm telling you it will be fine. " He kissed my cheek before letting go, "I have to run into town to meet a friend, would you like me to bring you back dinner?" He asked as he slipped on his jacket.

"Sure, that sounds good. Do you know how long you'll be?"

"Shouldn't be more than an hour, hour and a half maybe?" He replied,

"Alright. I will see you when you get back, I love you." I said as he walked away, he turned and jogged back to me kissing me hard,

"I love you too." He smiled as he pulled away. I heard the bus door close and waited until I saw his car drive down the road. I quickly called Jake,

"Hey, he just left, can you bring the package out to the bus, and maybe some wrapping paper?" I asked,

"Sure be out in a sec." After a few moments Jake came up the bus steps with the box in his hand.

"Ah! Thank you so much!" He nodded as he walked off the bus. I had Josh's christmas presents shipped to his house in Jake's name so that I could wrap them when I got here. I kept my eye on the clock as I wrapped them. I was so excited to give them to him, I knew he'd love them. After I got them to look how I want I sat them on the side table. I decided to shower and change into my pjs before Josh got back. Once I got out, I sat on the bed and wrapped up in the comforter.

"Sunshine, I'm back with dinner." Josh said as he walked back on the bus, he started to giggle when he saw me wrapped up in the comforter. "Why don't we just go into the house? I can see that you are freezing. The parents are still gone, and I planned on introducing you at breakfast anyways. Can we please?" I thought for a moment as Josh pouted,

"Alright, that sounds better than being cold." I finally sighed

"Great, the boys are probably waiting for their burgers, do you need help with your bags?" He asked

"Nah, I got it." I grabbed my bags and his present off the table,

"Oooh what is that?" He asked raising a brow.

"It's your gifts, and you better not mess with them until we decide to open gifts." I said "Or there will be hell to pay Joshua Michael." He burst into laughter,

"I won't mess with them, lets get inside." He said as we walked down the steps. I followed him into his childhood home. The front door went directly into the living room. It was a super cozy house, lots of pictures, soft lighting, the smell of the fireplace and crackling of the fire filling my senses.

"Oh finally!" Sam said hopping up off the couch, "Jake! Food is here!" He yelled up the stairs.

"What took you so long!" Jake said as Sam dove his hand into the bag Josh was holding, shoving french fries into his mouth.
