It was the weekend and we had to go to court to support john b. So i took all the energy that i had in me and got ready with the pogues.
My aunt forced me to dress up a little so i did... kinda.

I came outside of my house and got in kie's car.
JJ whistled and said
"Damn. You look hot. I'm so glad to call you mine"
"Calm down loverboy" i said while laughing
"How can i when your so goddamn beutiful?" He said as he started to kidd me all over my cheek.
"Stop" i said while laughing.

[Fast foward]

We we're all in court
And the judge said
"John Brooker Rutledge, pursuant to the north carolina statute section 14, you are charged with murder in the first degree with aggravated circumstances. If convicted, the maximum sentence would be the death penalty."
I heart dropped to the fucking floor.
Sarah started to cry so i hugged tightly while i let a tear out myself.
"YOUR HONER, HE'S 17." JJ yelled
"HE'S JUST A KID" i yelled
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?" JJ yelled.
Everybody started to walk out of the court room slowly.

"Hey, john B, we're gonna figure it out. JJ yelled again
"John B! John B!" Sarah yelled as she started to follow him but security held her back.
"Let her go" i told the man
"Stop don't touch her" kie said as well
"Sarah!" Pope yelled
"Let's go sarah" i said
"Let's get out of here" kie said as we all got out.
Everybody kept whispering bad stuff about jb like he deserved it or justice served and that made me even more pissed.
"Is this a joke?" Kie asked
"Like are we in hell or?..." i said
"I should have never come home." Sarah said

"They're gonna kill him, guys. I know it." JJ said.
"So sorry for what you and your family have gone through. Thank god the system works"  we heard a man tell Ward
"NO IT FUCKING DOESN'T " i yelled at them.
"Can you please shut up? Of course you think the system worked because it was made to protect you and people like you." Kie yelled
"He'll have his day in court. A jury will decide." The man said
"HE SHOULDN'T BE IN COURT!" kie yelled
"YOU SHOULD 'CAUSE YOUR A MURDERER."  I yelled
At Ward.

"YOU HAVE A LOT OF NERVE SHOWING UP TO COURT" Kie yelled at him.
"I know you guys are upset. I understand you're upset, okay?" Ward said
"UPSET?" me and kie yelled at the same time.
" i know he's got yoh fooled. He's got all of you fooled" he yelled at us.
"NO, WE'RE NOT JUST UPSET" kie yelled as she went to attack Ward but the cops held her back.
"DON'T FUCKING TOUCH HER" i yelled.
"SHOW SOME RESPECT" Ward yelled
"RESPECT IS A TWO-WAY STREET AND BESIDES WE DON'T RESPECT MURDERERS OR LIARS AND YOUR BOTH " i yelled at him.

"MUZZLE YOUR GODDAMN DOG!" JJ yelled
"GET OF OFF HER" pope yelled at the police.
"WHY DON'T YOU TAKE THE KOOKS DOWN FOR A CHANGE SHOUPE?" JJ yelled
" you wanna get arrested? GET OUT! You need to go" shoupe told us
"This is bullshit" kie said
"Tell me about it" i whispered
"Come on. Look, it's not worth it." Sarah said as she pulled us to walk away.
"IT'S NOT A COINCIDENCE THAT YOUR DAUGHTER IS SITTING WITH US." kie yelled.

It was later on in the day and we were at the chateau talking.
"I'm gonna testify under oath. I was there. I just need to get a hold of my sister." Sarah said.
"Sister?" JJ asked
"Kie, do you have your phone?, wheezie is the only other person that knows Rafe wasn't home that day." She said while taking kie's phone.
"Wheezie?" JJ asked thinking this was ridiculous.
"I don't know what else to do. I got us into thsi mess. I'm gonna do my best to get us out." She said

JJ scoffed before saying
"Wheezie? Yeah, that will work. Well she's right about one thing. We gotta do something. Our boy is a PO-dub right now, okay? He's held captive by the enemy right now, maybe even SCHEDULED FOR EXECUTION. ARE WE JUST GONNA SIT HERE?" JJ yelled
"WHAT'S THE PLAN? WE KIDNAP SHOUPE?" Kie asked
"Maybe, like, that's not the worst idea actually." JJ responded
"Oh, it's not?" Kie said sarcastically
"No" he answered
"Thta is actually the worst idea I've ever heard." Pope said
"It's pretty bad" sarah said from the other room.
"You know what? PLEASE JUST STAY OUT OF THIS. Okay, pope, look We've been doing everything your way, and how has that been working out?" JJ asked

"Okay, okay, so what's your plan? You gonna storm in jail, guns a-blazing ?" he asked
"Look pope, all I'm trying to get you to understand is they got our boy. Are we just gonna sit here and do nothing? No! We're gonna get his ass. WE'RE GONNA DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! JJ yelled
"JJ, we're not storming a jail.
It's not happening." Pope said
"No, fine, man. Sit in your comfy chair. Do nothing. I'm gonna see what i can do. Make something happen, even if i have to do it myself." JJ said
"Okay" kie said not caring.
We heard a car pull over and someone come out of it.

It was conner, a boy from my
chemistry class.
"Who's that?" Pope asked
"Conner, a kid from our school" kie answered
"What is he doing here? It's raining" I asked.
I walked outside and said
"Conner? What are you doing here?" I asked
" i ran into your aunt and she told me to tell you to come home soon" he answered
"Well you could have just texted me" i said
"I know but i thought maybe you might need a ride home or something" he said while putting his hand on my shoulder.
"That's very sweet but-" i started before getting cut off by jj pushing him.

"What the fuck do you want?" He asked
"I-"conner started before jj punched him causing conner to fall to the ground.
"DON'T TOUCH MY GIRL" he yelled.
I got down to conner and saw his bloody nose.
"Hey, you okay?" I asked
" yeah, don't worry about it" he answered
"WHAT THE FUCK JJ?" I yelled while pushing him
" HE CAN'T TOUCH YOU" JJ said
"WE'RE JUST FRIENDS AND HE BARELY TOUCHED ME" i yelled
"fine. Come on I'll drive you home" he said
"No. I'll actually go eith conner to make he's okay" i said while walking to conners car with him.
