ᥲᥴᥴᥱ⍴𝗍іᥒg 𑁍

When Ruby returned home from the Cullen's she sat in the living room, where Charlie and Ruben were sitting. They looked at her strangely.

"Why didn't you tell me? About any of this? What if something happened to me?" she asked them

"We wanted to tell you, but it was essential for you to find out on your own."

"How so?"

"We cannot give you all the answers"

"Well you haven't given me any answers and you have shut me down whenever I ask" she shot back to her twin

"Well now you know who they are and what they are we can help" Charlie said sadly

"I'm sorry if I hurt you baby, but I couldn't help you."

She smiled softly and kissed his cheek as well as Ruben's.

"I love you both, but don't you ever and I mean ever keep me in the dark" she scolded before going upstairs and jumped out of her skin as the Cullens were scattered around her room.

"Jesus, Mary mother and Joseph! what are you doing here?" she asked

"We wanted to come and see you" Esme smiled.

"How did you know where my room is?"

"I came here the night you moved, I wanted to see if you were real." Edward said. Ruby looked at him in confusion.

"That's really creepy" she said with a tired sigh. Before grabbing a tank top and some joggers and going to change. When she came back, everyone other than Carlisle and Esme were gone. She smiled and got into bed. Carlisle and Esme lay on either side of her as she drifted into dream land

Esme smiled as she snuggled closer to her. She placed a kiss to her head as Ruby mumbled

"Carlisle, come closer". He chuckled and wrapped his arms around her waist. She sighed happily and finally fell asleep

When she woke up the next morning she was greeted by Carlisle's chest. She smiled and snuggled deeper into his embrace.

"No, no, no dear. It's time to wake up" Carlisle spoke softly. She stretched out and turned around and saw Esme, who was wearing different clothes to last night.

"I just wanna stay here and cuddle. For cold ones you's are pretty warm" she smiled

"That's because our mate needs warmth and we can provide that" Esme smiled and combed some of her hair behind her ear.

"Okay I'm up" she said before getting up from her bed and going to shower and change. She emerged from the bathroom and smiled as Carlisle and Esme smiled. She noticed Carlisle give a strange look at how much of her skin was out.

"Don't worry, I'm gonna get one one of dads shirts for over the top."

Carlisle gave a light smile before telling her he had to leave. He kissed her cheek and disappeared.

"Feel free to stop by the house when you want, bug." Esme smiled and kissed her cheek before leaving.

Ruby walked into her dads room with a bang. Charlie shot up from his bed holding a baseball bat.

"Jesus Christ Red! You gave me a heart attack!"

"Sorry dad, I thought you were at work" she smiled lightly.

"No I worked late so I'm going in later." He yawned.

"Why are you coming into my room anyway?" He asked

"Oh, I'm borrowing one of your shirts"

"Okay. Oh, tell your mates that they don't have to come in through your window. Just tell them to come in whenever. It's expected that your mates come in because they want to see you. Just don't do anything... ya know"
