"What." Claude asked clearly not pleased.

"I want to go to school."

Athanasia listened intently as her sister spoke to Claude. They were in the middle of their dinner.

"Specifically,  the boarding school in Arlanta." Athelinda added.

"If you require a tutor I shall assign you. But you will not be attending any schools." Claude declined.

"I want to go to school." Athelinda once again demanded, this time placing her utensils down and engaging in a glaring competition with Claude.

"I said, No." Claude also replied with a glare.

"Er, uh Lin, Why do you want to go to school?! Especially one which is out of the country?" Athanasia who could no longer eat in the tension the two individuals had formed, spoke in attempts of easing it.

"Arlanta's boarding school has a variety of highly skilled individuals teaching, therefore I believe the education they give is the best among best. Several noble children from Obelia even attend that school. It's focus is on education but it also organizes events which promote socializing and fitness. It's also-"

"Stop. She didn't ask for a whole essay." Claude cut her off.

Athanasia once again sat in discomfort as another unpleasant atmosphere had formed from the two's interaction.

Claude you jerk. The fact that she got carried away while telling us means she really likes that stupid school.

Athanasia sighed inside her head.

The night ended without Athelinda speaking to Claude at all.

----

Morning came and Athelinda woke up rather lazily. She was tired.

She was tired. But she didn't know whether it was physical exhaustion or mental.

Cassandra helped her to the bath and it took her almost an hour to get out. The warm bath was so relaxing.

Was it the bath that was warm or her own body temperature?

Upon leaving the bath she asked Cassandra to check her temperature which unfortunately was normal.

Athelinda slumped on her bed after her bath and breakfast, causing Cassandra to be worried about the eldest princess.

"Princess, will you not be heading to the library today?"

"Mhm...I feel strangely exhausted. Are you sure I don't have a fever?"

Cassandra came up to the laying princess and once again placed her hand on her forehead.

"...even so , If you feel sick you should stay in bed for the day. Should I call for a doctor?"

"Cassandra, can you bring me fruit juice? Orange juice to be exact. "

"As you wish."

----

After drinking a glass of orange juice, Athelinda encouraged herself to head to the library.

She had recently started a novel with a rather childish story compared to her usual reads but she liked the authors way of writing the story. She was interested in reading it further.

She entered the library and saw Cedric not present. She ignored his absence and headed to her usual spot. She went to pick up her book and found it missing.

Huh...did someone borrow it? B-But I wanted to read it...

Athelinda was at her breaking point.
