gunil was silently crying in the bathroom stalls, not even a sob was heard in the whole room only him and the four walls knew it.

a secret repressed and a lot of words left unsaid burnt him inside that he wanted just to snap all of his thoughts in a long and painful scream even if it meant he wouldn't feel his throat after that.

when did everything become like this? not even he knew... was that because of the accident?

he tried to understand his parents behaviour, but the more he thought about it the less it made sense.
why would he suffer just to make them feel less guilty? afterall it wasn't even his fault

he felt some footstep approaching the bathroom's door and loud knocks on it, it felt as if it was going to break at any moment.
he covered his mouth with his hand, what he learnt about those situations was that he needed to be silent, not give out any sound.

his sobs started growing louder as the tears wouldn't stop falling on his cheeks, the feeling seemed as if they were burning his skin by how bitter they were.

❝ keep crying, it's the only thing you know how to do. ❞ his father snapped, leaving a punch on the door to at least relieve his anger as he didn't want to break something else and then pay for his troubles.
his father philosophy was hurting his own child instead of other things, at least if gunil died he had to pay a less thing.

gunil removed the hand from his mouth and started crying even more than before, he was afraid.
he was afraid of living but also afraid of dying ... why must gunil suffer all of that pain by the people who made him know the world?

he was only fourteen.
