CHAPTER 21

CHAPTER 21



“DADDY!” Napalingon si Klane ng tawagin siya ni Laxus.

He stop washing dishes and looked at his son. “ Yes, son? You need anything?”

“Lexie want to play with us, daddy!” Laxus exclaimed.

“Oh? Ahm… okay. But can you please tell to our princess that I just finished this washing dishes first. Okay lang ba ‘yun?” aniya sa anak.

Laxus nodded and grinned. “ Okay, daddy. I’ll tell Lexie.” Anito saka tumalikod sa kanya at umalis sa kusina.

Siya naman ay tinapos ang paghuhugas ng mga pinggan. Pagkatapos, pinunasan niya ang basang kamay gamit ang isang towel na nakasabit sa gilid.

He was about to turn around when he felt someone hug his legs. He looked at it and he saw it was Lexie, who was smiling so happily.

“Daddy? Is it true po?” Nakangiting sabi nito sa kanya.

Inalis ni Klane ang pagkakayakap nito sa kanya at kinarga ito.

“What’s true are you talking about, princess?” Tanong niya sa anak.

Lexie kiss him on the cheeks. “ Na you want to play with me po, daddy.”

Klane became confused. “ Hindi ba’t ikaw ang may gustong makipaglaro samin ng kuya Laxus mo?”

“Huh? Ako po, daddy? But sabi ni Kuya Lax sa’kin kanina gusto mo po akong kalaro. He even said to me that you want to play with me with my toys.”

Klane froze. Hindi niya inakala na paglalaruan siya ni Laxus. Like what the hell?

Bakit ganon si Laxus sa kanya? He act like something different. Hindi ba nito tanggap siya bilang ama?

Naguguluhan siya kay Laxus. Something is off with him. I must investigate it by myself. He couldn’t believe that his son just tricked him. But the one thing he confused is about his emotions and expression.

Laxus really had the potential on it. He really can played and manipulate your emotions. Ang galing niyang umarte. He can make him his heir — no. Never. He doesn’t want his son to live in an unpeaceful  and chaotic life. Bakit ko ba iniisip iyon? I shouldn’t think that! “Daddy?”

Napabalik sa katinuan si Klane ng magsalita si Lexie.

“Yes, baby?”

“ Okay lang naman po kung ayaw mo pong kalaro ako. I understand po. I just play nalang po with my self.” Lexie said in an unhappy tone of voice.

Pagkatapos sabihin iyon ay nagpababa mula sa pagkakakarga si Lexie sa kanya at malungkot na umalis sa sala.

Klane felt so bad about it.  He's such a bad father for making his daughter sad.

Kaya naman sinundan niya kung saan papunta si Lexie. Nakita pa niya si Laxus na nasa sala at naka kunot noong nakatingin sa kanya.

Umalis ito mula sa pagkakaupo sa sofa sa sala saka lumapit sa kanya.

“What the hell did you do?” tanong nito sa kanya.

Klane just shook his head. “ I didn’t do anything. I just make her feel… sad?”

“Make her feel sad? Then you do something on her! How dare you to make her sad!”

Klane sighed. “Son, calm down. I swear, I didn’t do anything to her.”

“Then why is she sad, huh!?” Laxus asked, angrily.

“Son…actually it’s not my fault. It’s your fault. You tricked me.”

“Are you blaming me!?”

Klane was become horrified. “ No, son. I’m not blaming you… I’m sorry…”

Laxus just give him a cold stare. “  Your sorry means nothing to me. Psh…you just like them, a fucking idiot.”

With that, Laxus left him hanging.

Siya naman ay inis na napasabunot ng sariling buhok at yun ang nadatnan ni Lexien na galing sa labas.

“What’s the matter?” usisa ni Lexien na kakapasok lang sa living room. Lexien looked at Klane. “ I heard Laxus voice shouting. Are you two having a fight?”

Klane just looked at her and shook his head. “ Ah…nothing. It’s my fault anyway.”

“Your fault? What did you do?” kunot noong tanong ni Lexien dito.

Klane let out a long sighed. “ I don’t know what to do with Laxus.”

Lexien became confused. “What’s the matter with our son, love?”

Klane open his mouth and spoke truthfully to her. He did tell everything that Laxus did to him.

“ He really did that!?” Gulat na wika ni Lexien kay Klane. She can’t believe that Laxus can do that to him.

“Love, calm down. I think he’s just playing with me.”

Umiling si Lexien. “ No. Kakausapin ko siya.”

Klane become worried. “ Love, don’t hurt him…please. Pabayaan nalang natin siya.”

Lexien looked at him with disbelief. “ Pabayaan? No! Kakausapin ko siya. Baka mamaya makapanakit pa siya lalo sayo.”

“Love, please… baka masaktan mo siya. It’s okay. Okay lang naman sa’kin yun. It’s a harmless to me.” Pagmamakaawa ni Klane kay Lexien

“Physically yes, it’s harmless to you but emotionally, no.”

“Love… let it go, please. I think he’s just tricking me, you know. I know that he’s just messing up with me.” Wika ni Klane. He know that Laxus just messing up with him. He can felt it. Alam niyang pinaglalaruan lang siya ng anak niya.

Lexien tsked. “ I’m not contented. I will talk to him.”

Klane was really persistent on stopping Lexien. “ Love, please… baka lalong magalit sakin si Laxus. You make the situation become worst, love. Let’s just make him do what he wanted. Mapapagod din siya sa mga kalokohang ginagawa niya.”

“But he wouldn’t be learn if we didn’t correct him — if we didn’t give him an advice about of his actions! Don’t you get the point what I am saying?”

Klane nodded. “ I know. I get your point. But he was just a kid, love. It’s normal to them to play anything. He maybe say something hurtful words to me but he didn’t mean it. I know he didn’t mean it. Hindi niya lang alam na nakakasakit na siya.”

Lexien sighed in irritation. “What if he will always do that? Hindi lang sayo kundi pati sa iba?”

Klane give her an annoyed look. “ Don’t you trust our son, Lexien? He’s still a kid! He can change!”

Meanwhile, while Lexien and Klane was arguing, Laxus on the other hand was on the second floor, near at the staircase, hearing their talks about him.

He couldn’t help but to feel sad and guilty at the same time. He felt sad to himself and to his father. He feel so guilty about of his actions towards his father. He didn’t know what to do.

'What should I do? Should I beg for forgiveness? Should I apologize?' He thought to himself. Naputol lang ang sasabihin niya ng may nagsalita sa likuran niya.

“Are you happy now?”

Laxus froze about that question. He doesn’t want to answer it.

“ Do am I ?” pabalik na tanong niya sa kakambal.
