"hey..." Kit spoke softly as he walked in Tommy's room, noticing he looked upset, "are you okay?"

Tommy just nodded, "come lay with me?"

Kit walked over and lay down on Tommy's bed. Tommy wrapped his arms around the boy, resting his head on Kit's chest.

"what's going on?" Kit whispered, running a hand through Tommy's curls.

"was just speaking to Will." Tommy mumbled, "about the whole us and figuring myself out thing."

Kit hummed, "and how you feeling now that Will knows?"

"better. its relieving that he knows and I can talk to him." Tommy smiled slightly.

"that's good." Kit reminded. "it's good you're comfortable talking to people."

Tommy just hummed and buried his face into Kit's chest. Kit smiled down at him as he played with the Brits hair. and it felt safe. Tommy felt safe.

"Tom..." Kit murmured.

"hm?" Tommy replied in a quiet hum.

Kit sighed, "were you serious about having fallen in love recently? in the lie detector thing."

Tommy looked up, his eyes meeting Kit's.

"I think I'm falling in love right now."

Kit chuckled and leaned down to kiss Tommy. and everything felt right.
