Time to face the music (episode 4)

Ellie's POV
I'm walking over to the Campbells to hangout with Griffin while Harpers staying at home.
"Hey Ben, Sarah" I say while walking by them
"Ellie I've missed you are you here to hang out with Griffin" Sarah says "yes I am" Griffin walks out onto the porch "hey Ellie" he says "hey Griff can you help me with this" Ben says "sure" they fix the light and we are about to walk inside when we hear a car pull up "Bennett" someone says "Grandpa" Griff says while giving him a hug and he looks at me "and who might you be" he says "I'm Ellie Dunn I'm one of Griffins friends" he then looks at Sarah and Ben and says "is it really Ellie Morgan" I say "yea my real last name is Morgan but I was adopted" "Ellie I haven't seen you since you were 2 how have you been" "I've been good" "Bennett you remember how you and Jesse were such good friends and you look exactly like Norah did at your age so Bennett what are you doing here hey go grab my bags of the car would you Griffin" "I would but I got to go" "Griffin help your grandfather" "I'll help you Griff" I say to him as we walk to the trunk and we grab his bags and we are walking inside when we hear "i remember how crushed Griffin was when she left even at the age of 2 said she was pretty don't you remember that" his grandpa says "yes I do and do you remember that time where you Jesse and I were out and we left the kids with Sarah and Norah and we get back and they kissed each other" I'm thinking in my head we kissed at a young age and i could tell Griffin was listening. "Yea I remember that Jesse ran into the room and grabbed Ellie and was telling her that it was bad to do that and she said why you and mommy do it to show your love for each other" his grandpa says and I see Griffin looking at me and i blush "I'm going to ask Sarah if she still has that picture maybe we could show it to them" Ben says Griffin and I walk upstairs with his grandpas bags "Hey Ellie, Griffin come here" says Sarah "yes" we say "look what I found" she says as she pulls out 2 pictures of me and Griffin kissing as toddlers we look at each other and blush "do you guys want them to keep for memories" she says and we say "yes" and we go to walk away Sarah says "Ellie can I talk to you" i nod at Griffin to go and wait for me. "Yes" I say "you know I see the way you and Griffin look at each other" and I say "what how do we look at each other" "Ellie everyone can tell you and Griffin like each other even the twins see it" then Zoey comes out of no where and says "you guys look at each other like mom and dad look at each other" "what no we don't and Griffin doesn't like me" "sure he doesn't but he did confess to Wyatt" Zoey says "he did?" I question "yea and he told me that he likes you I mean it's saying something when he tells his mom about you" Sarah say I look down and blush "b-b-but there's no way he could like me even if i like him" I say "hey why don't you stay for dinner and then you can just stay over and sleep in Zoeys room" Sarah says "ok I'm gonna go scare Griff now" I say walking off I meet them in the bunker and say "let's go"  we get there and we see Jess and Savannah fighting and we stop and listen. Griff says "woah was that your mom" yea but she's much different now remember the plan I talk to Jess Ellie you talk to Savannah and Norah and Griffin you talk to Ben" Harper says "you got it" Griff and I say at the same time I walk off to go find Savannah and Norah I find them in a shaded area under a tree and I sit by them and say "hey guys" "hey" they say Norah then says "well I'm gonna go find Jesse he was wanting to take me on a date" "oooo" Savannah and I say and she walks off "so do you like Ben" I say "do you like Harry" "ok I may like Harry but I don't think he would like me" "Ginny he obviously likes you I mean i see the way he looks at you and no I don't like Ben he's my best friend" "yea but I mean we've known each other since he was born I mean why would he like me" "trust me he does and why don't we go to Bens cabin I bet Harry's there right now" "fine let's go" we are walking to Bens cabin and we walk in and see him and Harry working on a song "hey boys" we say "Hey Ginny" Harry says i sit down beside him and we just talk all day and we realize it's close to dinner "hey sorry to cut this short but we have to go" i say "i hug Savannah "don't forget what I said just talk" she says "ok I will I'll update you" "come on" Harry says while grabbing my hand and we don't let go and we catch up to Harper "my mom was definitely jealous of Savannah what did you guys get out of your family's" "um well Norah had a date with my dad so she left and Savannah and I just talked" "Yea Ben and I were writing a song and it was awesome and then 2 girls decided to crash our song writing time" "well sorry Savannah wanted to see Ben but claims she doesn't like him" "that would be weird if she liked my dad and if they would have gotten married we would be related and those pictures my mom found would be disturbing" "yea you're right" "wait so you guys didn't get any information and what pictures" Griff and I pull out our pictures of our toddler selves kissing "awwww that's so cute but seriously why am I the only one taking this seriously" "sorry that I'm just trying to hang out with my family before it all goes away you actually have your biological parents at least one alive and you have a brother I have nothing I'm adopted do you know how hard it is to not know who your family is and then you find out and you just want to hangout with them no you don't let's go Griffin" we walk away our hands still intertwined "I'm sorry about crying" I say "no don't be sorry you have nothing to be sorry about let's go up to my room for a little ok" he says while he wipes my tears away with his thumb we get upstairs to his room and we lay on his bed he sits against his head while I lay my head in his lap and he starts playing with my hair"do you think we should tell Savannah who we are at least" I say "I don't think we can just yet ok" "ELLIE" the twins say while jumping onto Griffins bed "Jess brought over some clothes for you and you get to sleep in my room and we can talk about boys and stay up all night and we can bring my mom in because she wants to get to know you better and we can have a girls night and it will be so much fun" Zoey says "ok Zoey we can do all those things after dinner" us 4 walk down to get dinner and i sit in between Griffin and Zoey "Griffin where have you and Ellie been" Sarah says "we were in my room doing homework" "all afternoon" Sarah says suspiciously "good man Griffin study hard ride to the top and do important things it's the Campbell way at least it was until recently" his grandpa says and Griffin reaches under the table and grabs my hand and we intertwine our fingers "Kids what are you hiding under there" Sarah says and Griffin and I look at her and thankfully she's looking at Zoey and Wyatt they pull out a camera and Zoey says "we found it" they go on talking and Griffin and i are just looking at each other Wyatt then mentions Savannah and their grandpa looks at Ben then me and says "Savannah" and Ben says "how many times to I have to tell you to stop talking about ghosts" and we look at each other and he's rubbing my hand basically saying that it's ok. And we head up to bed
Time skip**
Griffin and I are walking out the door to head to school when we see his grandpa "hey grandpa can I ask you something" Griff says "sure" he says "why are you so mad at dad for coming back to Sulphur Springs" "this place is nothing but a pile of old wood and bad memories" "bad memories what kind of bad memories" "the past belongs in the past best to leave it there" his grandpa says and we walk to school and we see Harper "hey Harp" I say she says hey and I zone out not wanting to really talk and she says that she bribed Topher to give notes to the office and we head to the bunker and we walk and see a talent show Jess announces that Ben is up next and we clap but he messes up and looks at Griff and sees that we are holding hands and smiles and looks at Griff and tells Savannah and Norah to look and they smile and we hear that the last performance of the day is Norah and Savannah Dillion and Griffin says this is the song he heard and I walk up to Savannah "see I told you he likes you" she says "what do you mean by that" I say "you guys were holding hands and you guys looked so cute" "yea you guys did" Norah says "well I'm gonna go back to Harry" they make kissing noises at me and I laugh and walk away and we go back to the bunker and Harper says "Ellie um mom wants you to stay with the Campbells for a while she talked to Sarah and got some of your stuff and took it there" "um ok" and Griff and I walk upstairs and see that his grandpa is leaving he walks by and says "hey Griffin and Ellie stay out of trouble" and we walk out from behind the corner and i walk up to Griffs room while they talk.
Griffins POV** (bet you didn't see that coming)
I walk upstairs to go check on Ellie and I walk into my room and see she's asleep and she looks so adorable and I get started on my homework and Harper calls and I try to be quiet so I don't wake her up and my mom walks into the room "Griffin and Ellie i just got off the phone with your principal you're grounded" "mom she's sleeping" "well tell her when she wakes up she's not in trouble and leave the door open when she's in here with you by yourself" "sorry she was sleeping and I didn't want the twins to wake her up" "ok fine but from now on this is open" and she leaves and Harper and I look at each other and I look at Ellie wondering how she's still asleep I go over to her and wake her up "Ellie wake up" and she doesn't move I try for 5 minutes and then I think and I miss her check and she jumps and says "ok who did that" "Ellie it's fine it was me you weren't waking up" "oh sorry" "it's ok and I'm grounded and do is Harper you're the only one that's not oh and my mom was going on about this speech like any time Ellie and you are in here alone leave the door open but it's closed cause you were sleeping" "oh well thanks and um Griff" "yea" "i um I have something I want to tell you" "um me too how about you go first" "um how about at the same time" "ok" he says we count "1,2,3" "I really like you" we both say "what" Ellie says "Ellie I really like you and I have since we were toddlers obviously" "Griffin I really like you too" and we are sitting next to each other and we look at each other and then
Ellie's POV (changing it at the worst time possible but it's ok you'll forgive me)
I see him look down at my lips and we start leaning in and I feel his lips connect with mine and in my head I'm like OH MY GOSH WE ARE KISSING and we pull away and I look at him and he says "will you Ellie Savannah Morgan Dunn be my girlfriend" "Yes I will" and we kiss again and the door opens and we jump apart and we see the twins "MOM SAID YOU HAVE TO LEAVE THE DOOR OPEN GRIFFIN" Zoey says while dragging me out of the room i five Griffin a sad face and we are in Zoeys room "Zoey you could've come in like 2 minutes later" "and why's that" "because Griffin and I were talking now if you don't mind me I need to go talk to your mother" i say walking out of her room "Sarah can I talk to you please" yea Ellie what's up" "um can we talk somewhere private" "yea um let's go to the kitchen so what's up" "um well you know how you said that it was always you and my moms bet on me and Griffin and well Griffin and I were talking in his room and then we confessed we like each other and then he kissed me and then he asked me to be his girlfriend and then we kissed again until the twins came in" "YES IT FINALLY HAPPENED BEN" "what Sarah are you ok" "Norah and i were right and you and Jesse were wrong" "Ellie you and Griffin couldn't have waited like 9 more years" "what" I say "it was a bet between the moms and dads it was that if you and Griffin got together before you guys turned 18 the girls win but if you guys waited until after or not gotten together at all the guys would've won but guess what  Norah and I won" Sarah says "ok well can Sarah and I have girl talk while you go talk to Griffin he's in his room don't tell the twins" "I'm so excited for you too Norah and i already planned the wedding" "we are only 12" " it's ok but now you're staying with us so you can hang out with griffin more and now I can finally say my son has a girlfriend" "ok well I'm gonna go head up to Zoeys room goodnight Sarah" Goodnight Ellie"
