"Hah! Got ya!" Jennie exclaimed before turning her attention to Wang Mino and Lisa. "I'm sorry. What were you saying again?"

"I said... she invited me to Lisa's grandfather's birthday." Wang Mino said. "And I think the rumor that we are in a relationship has already caught the media's attention."

"Did she tell you she was pregnant?"

"No." Wang Mino shook his head.

"Really? Then why start a rumor like that?" Jennie thought out loud.. "By the way, did you agree?"

"I told her I would call her later since I still need to check my schedule," he answered.

Jennie then looked at Lisa. "What do you think?"

"Let's go. Let's see what they are up to. Right now, they are our only suspects. Plus it's also time to announce our engagement." Lisa said.

His statement earned a raised eyebrow from Jennie. "Oh... you will announce our engagement?"

"Why not?" he asked.

"Nothing." She answered before turning her head towards her laptop, her gaze unfathomable.

"The birthday party will take place in a week." Wang Mino said. "What are we going to do about the company attacks?"

"I'm working on it. I just received a message from the hacker a while ago. I guess my technique worked." Jennie said. "You know what? Let's think about all this again. The culprit is clearly trying to cause chaos and confusion. He or she wanted us to focus on the problems that they are throwing at us. I think they are trying to divert our attention from their true plan."

"True plan?" Lisa furrowed his brows. "Can you check the income flow of the Manoban Conglomerate? See if there are some fluctuations? Or weird activities?"

"Sure. Send it to me. It might take a couple of days though." Jennie answered. "What are you thinking?"

"Someone virtually attacked the two biggest families in the country. Who do you think will benefit from that?" Lias's statement instantly made Jennie froze.

She hadn't thought about that. Lisa was right. If this news was shared to the media, most investors will be alarmed, causing them to panic and pull out their shares from both companies.

Meaning, they would look for another company where they could have invested their money.

A more stable and secure company.

A company like theManoban Conglomerate. This could only mean that someone from the Manoban Family was behind all this, but if so... who could it be?

"Your uncle, do you think he..."

"Yes." Lisa confirmed, interrupting Jennie's question. "I think he is the one behind this. He is the only one that could benefit, but I want to confirm it from the flow of income in our branch in this country. There could be more to find out than what is on the surface."

"You know what?" Jennie said after a couple of minutes of silence. "I think I have a plan."

"What plan?" Wang Mino asked excitedly. His cousin always had great plans.

"A trap." Jennie said. "I mean we can't just say that it was your uncle. I think we have a really smart enemy here. We don't know them and they are smart enough to be able to hide from us. My point is, we don't really know if they are just throwing us in your uncle's direction. If they are just playing with us, I want to beat them at their own game."

"Since they want to play a game, then let's do it. However, this time, the trap will be for them!" Jennie added while smiling at the duo before her.

Soon, Jennie's smile turned into an evil grin. The one behind this had tried to destroy her relationship with Lisa.

On the outside, Jennie looked amiable about it, however, on the inside, she was raging.

This was her second life and all she wanted was to find someone to spend a happy life with. She was certain that Lisa was that person. However, someone had tried to take that away from her.

Someone wanted to ruin her marriage and relationship with the man that she loved.

After making sure that her plan was easily manageable, the duo did not disturb Jennie anymore.

The first step in Jennie's plan was ensuring that the hacker who had attacked their companies was on board with this.

Jennie spent the whole day exchanging emails with the hacker. By the end of the day, Jennie had finally managed to convince her to come to the country and work for her.

After all, an extra Bai' Li would be of great assistance to Jennie.

She also started checking the overall income of the branch where Lisa's uncle work. Both of them believed that there was more to this, so it was very important to know every detail about this. There were a lot of files so Jennie knew that it would take her a lot of time to look through them, maybe days, or even weeks.

"You should get some rest." Lisa said upon realizing that it was almost midnight.

"Make me." Jennie winked at him.
