The Switch

I came out of the bathroom dressed in this.

I went downstairs and said, "Ok who's going shopping?" Carlisle said, "Are you ok Rae?" I said, "Yeah, couldn't be better." Alice said, "Uh, me, you, Rosalie, Emmett, Alex, and Jasper." I said "Great, let's go get Alex." and walked outside. Esme said "Call her friends. Now. You guys keep an eye on her." I rolled my eyes and we got in the car, picked up Alex, and as we drove to the mall. Alex said, "Why are we going shopping right now? Rae just got back." Alice said, "Hey, I said we should go shopping, your sister decided now." he said, "Rae, you wanted to go shopping?" I said, "Yeah, why not?" Rosalie said, "What is the plan?" I said "Oh uh, shop. I want to get rid of my clothes and replace them with all new stuff." Jasper said, "Why?" I said "Because they are the old RaeLynn, the one who was abused, lost a boyfriend, and a baby in a month. It's depressing. I need a new style for the new me." 

Alex said, "RaeLynn, what happened?" We parked and got out as I said "Nothing, I was crying over my life basically and then it just clicked. Why am I crying, when I could be shopping?" We started to walk into the mall and Jasper said "Maybe we should talk about this?" I said "Whats there to talk about? I lost the baby, you left me, and then I died. So let me live my vampire life as I want to. Im done worrying about other people, or about what should and shouldn't do. Now let's go blow some money. Unless you know of something else I can do?" I smirked at Jasper making his jaw drop. Emmett said "I like the new Rae. Let's go!" he grabbed my hand and we headed inside. 

 The others caught up with us and the girls pulled me into victoria's secret, and Alice said "Alright, what is the new RaeLynn's style?" Jasper said, "You all are gonna encourage this?" Rosalie said "What are you gonna do Jazz? Tie her up?" I said, "He'd have to catch me first. Ok, I'm thinking, something... grownup." Rosalie said, "Oh hell yeah, we got you." Alex said "Oh great." he rolled his eyes, and Rosalie said, "Shove her in." Emmett pushed me into the changing room and closed the curtain, then the girls started to throw things inside and I started to change into them. Alice said "Jazz go in there and tell her what looks good." he said "Alice... I don't know..." I said, "Jazz, just get in here, it's not like you haven't seen me naked before." he came in and said, "I just, I know you're mad at me, and I don't want to push you." 

I said "Jazz I'm not mad anymore, now zip this please." he slowly walked up behind me and his hands found the zipper, he whispered "Do you understand how hard this is?" I said "Whats hard? It's a zipper." he said "Not the zipper. Being this close to you, and not able to touch you is whats hard." I grabbed his hands and wrapped them around my waist "They kind of frown on that in a store, don't you think?" he growled and pushed me against the wall trapping my hands above my head while his free hand ran up my side "You are playing a dangerous game little girl." I smirked it seemed my teasing was going to get me into trouble. "Am I? Tell me Jazz, how does this corset look?" Alice said, "Hey, we are in public, behave." I said "Sorry sexy, the warden called." and escaped his hold stepping out of the dressing room. Carlisle and Esme showed up and Carlisle pulled the whole family into the dressing room. 

Carlisle said, "Apparently their type of vampire has a humanity switch, basically if the switch is on she is normal, when she has too many negative emotions that her brain can't seem to handle it flips off and she feels nothing, not sadness, anger, depression, happiness, love... nothing." Emmett said, "She feels something alright." Alex said, "She feels lust, that isn't an emotion anyone wants to forget so it makes sense." Esme said "Lust?" Rosalie said, "She has been toying with Jasper all day, and he is close to snapping." Jasper said, "I'd rather play her game than her go to someone else." I feigned innocence "Oh you don't like to share? Im sure I can find some takers." he growled at me again making me giggle. Jasper said, "We need to get her home." Carlisle nodded. Jasper ripped the tag off the corset handing it to Alice who was gathering the other clothes. Then he put his leather jacket around me zipping it up, grabbed my hand, and started to drag me from the store. 

Once out of the store, I guess he was tired of me struggling to get away that he picked me up bridal style. He held me tightly and ran back home, once home he dropped me on the bed and said "What are you doing RaeLynn?" I leaned back on my hands and stared up at the irritated vampire "Having fun, what are you doing?" he said "Right now I am irritated." I said, "Yeah, I can see that." I slowly unzipped the jacket "Wanna fix that?" I was kinda hoping to loosen him up a little bit, but that had the opposite effect. He got super mad and yelled "Damn it RaeLynn! Do you know what I want? I want my girl back. I want my beautiful, kind, smart, brave girl back." I shrugged the rest of the jacket off and said "Why? It's not like there was anything to like about me." I walked up to him and wrapped my arms around his neck, instinctively his arms wound around my waist. I said, "Now, those pesky human emotions are out of the way, leaving us free to just have fun."

He pushed me away, making me fall on the bed which shocked me because it's something I never thought he would do. I stared at him in shock, he said "I want you back, but I don't want this." and he left, he just... walked out slamming the door behind him. I went to open the door and it was locked. I called out "Did you seriously lock me up?" I played some music pretty loud then opened the window and jumped out. Once I hit the ground I took off.
